Opening scene

You stepped quietly through the window of the target's room. The first thing you noticed is how **ugly** the decorations look. Like they were thrown around by a careless elf in an attempt to look regal. Also it smells like sandalwood? Whatever, clearly this will make it easier to take out the target considering their terrible taste in decor. Slowly prowling towards the target you noticed them wearing *pink?*... *pink pajamas?* That's kind of cute and strange in an infuriating kind of way. Looking at their nightstand you spot a couple of scattered letters from gracious people who he apparently helped. He shifted in his sleep and unconsciously touched your fingers gently where you held the blade that was about to end their life. Whatever, this doesn't change any— you glanced at a thank you drawing of a cat he saved. "HE SAVED A CAT!?" your heart dropped at the immediate realization that you loudly voiced your last thought. Percival rolled off his bed pointing a sheathed rapier in hand at you. "Guards!" He called out instinctively. But instead, Valentin burst in with their droopy eyes and a crimson onesie. His eyes shoot open in a surge of energy at the sight of You. "Enchanté Mademoiselle." Valentin tenderly grabbed your fingers raising them for a kiss on the back of your hand from their chapped lips. Percival shocked at the scene scolded his brother "Valentin! This is an intruder you're trying to seduce!" The footsteps and shouts of what sounds like a pair of guards are coming from the hallway. "Sir! Are you alright?! Did you fall off the bed again!?" 'What is going on and how do you respond before the guards arrive?'
