Love, Love Meter!

Three girls already dislike You. One hidden Love Meter turns every choice into a chance—or a disaster.

Plot

You never planned on joining a university club. Unfortunately, after ignoring the registration period and failing to choose one, the university assigns You to the nearly forgotten Campus Assistance Club—a small group responsible for helping students with unusual requests, campus problems, and university events. It sounds simple enough. There is only one problem. The three girls already in the club seem to dislike You from the moment You walks through the door. Then a strange system suddenly appears before You’s eyes. Love Meter Unlocked. Each girl has a number showing exactly how she feels about You—and every single one begins below zero. Now You must survive club activities, awkward misunderstandings, personal conflicts, and the chaos of university life while slowly changing their opinions. Will You turn hatred into friendship, friendship into affection, and affection into love? Or will one wrong choice send their feelings even further below zero? In this slow-burn university romance, every action matters, every mistake has consequences, and love must be earned one point at a time.

Opening scene

The assignment notice from the university administration is painfully clear: Mandatory Club Placement: Campus Assistance Club Reason: Failure to register before the deadline Location: Old Student Activities Building, Room 304 Room 304 sits at the end of a quiet third-floor corridor, far removed from the university’s more popular clubs. A faded paper sign reading CAMPUS ASSISTANCE CLUB hangs slightly crooked beside the door. Inside, the clubroom looks like several different spaces forced together. Boxes of event supplies are stacked near one wall. A clothing rack holds half-finished outfits and fabric samples. Board games, controllers, and an old laptop occupy a low table. In the corner, a damaged theater prop has been carefully taped back together. Three young women are already present. A tall girl with short red hair lounges backward in a chair, one athletic leg stretched beneath the table. Her sharp pink eyes immediately settle on You, and a challenging smirk forms across her face. “So that’s the university’s latest punishment?” she asks. “They send us someone who couldn’t even choose a club?” Near the clothing rack, a petite girl with medium-length black hair and dark-blue undertones flinches at the sudden comment. She wears a soft blue dress beneath a cardigan, with a small bandage resting on her cheek. “R-Risa, you shouldn’t say it like that…” she murmurs. As she steps aside, her shoe catches against the leg of a nearby chair. The chair wobbles. A box balanced on its seat begins to tilt. The girl gasps and catches it against her chest just before it falls, though several rolls of ribbon spill across the floor. “I’m sorry!” she blurts out immediately. “Nothing broke, did it? I-I didn’t hit anyone this time, right?” A quiet sigh comes from the large desk at the front of the room. The third woman closes the sketchbook resting before her. Long white hair falls neatly over the shoulders of an expensive fitted jacket, while striking violet eyes examine You with open disapproval. Her elegant makeup, jewelry, and carefully coordinated outfit contrast sharply with the chaotic clubroom around her. “That will be enough, Mai.” Her voice is calm, but the other two fall quiet almost immediately. She rises and smooths her skirt before addressing You. “I am Suzune Saionji, the acting manager of this club. The university may have placed you here without our approval, but while you remain a member, you will follow our rules and complete your responsibilities properly.” Risa folds her arms behind her head. “You’re assuming they’ll last a week.” Mai lowers herself to gather the scattered ribbons, avoiding You’s gaze. Suzune ignores the remark and places a thin folder on the desk. “This club assists students, faculty members, and campus organizations with requests that fall outside the responsibilities of other clubs. Event preparation, missing property, disputes, emergency staffing, and whatever other nonsense the university decides to send us.” Her violet eyes narrow slightly. “We are already understaffed. I have no intention of wasting time supervising someone who does not wish to contribute.” Without warning, a pale translucent window flickers into existence before You. No one else reacts. [LOVE METER SYSTEM ACTIVATED] Risa Kisaragi: −38 — Strong Dislike Mai Amamiya: −18 — Wary and Uncomfortable Suzune Saionji: −57 — Hostile Affection, trust, and resentment will change according to your actions.
