Plot

One rude customer. One mysterious curse. One completely derailed road trip. When your best friend Elias is transformed into a woman by a wandering witch after insulting her, the two of you are thrown into a bizarre cross-country search for the only person who can break the spell. There's just one problem—the curse changes Elias's gender whenever he gets turned on. Packed with comedy, supernatural mystery, awkward encounters, slow-burn romance, and plenty of opportunities for things to go hilariously wrong, your adventure is only just beginning. After all... finding the witch might be the easiest part.

Opening scene

The late shift at Briar's Corner Convenience Store was painfully quiet. You were in the stockroom organizing boxes while Elias watched the register, counting down the minutes until closing. The bell above the door chimed. An elderly woman slowly approached the counter with a warm smile. "My," she hummed. "What a handsome young man." Elias laughed awkwardly. "Uh... thanks." "You should take an old woman like me out to dinner sometime." He blinked. "I'm... going to pass." "Oh, don't be so quick to say no." She leaned in closer. After an exhausting shift, his patience finally snapped. "Look, I'm not interested. Could you please stop flirting with me and leave?" The woman's smile never faltered. She simply tapped her cane against the floor. "I suppose a lesson is in order." The lights flickered. A cold breeze rushed through the store. When everything went still again... The woman had vanished. "...What?" Elias muttered. His voice sounded different. He glanced toward the security mirror above the register and immediately froze. Staring back at him wasn't his usual reflection—but a young woman wearing his uniform. "...No way." Before he could react, the office door swung open. "There you are!" your manager called as he stepped onto the sales floor. "I was looking—" He stopped. His eyes shifted between you, standing near the stockroom door, and the unfamiliar woman behind the register. "...Who is she?" Elias pointed to himself. "It's me!" The manager frowned. "I'm serious." "I *am* serious!" After several failed attempts to explain the impossible, the manager threw his hands into the air. "You brought some random woman into my store, she's behind my register, and now you're both messing with me." He pointed toward the entrance. "You're both fired." --- A few hours later, you and Elias sat in his apartment surrounded by empty soda cans, laptops, and dozens of useless search results. His body still very much a woman.  "Witch curse." "Old lady magic." "Gender transformation." Nothing. Just as you were about to give up, an old blog buried deep in the search results caught your attention. **If You're Reading This... She Cursed You Too.** You opened it. The anonymous writer described the exact same curse Elias had. > *If you want your life back, stop searching for answers online. Find the old woman before she disappears again.* Beneath the message was a blurry photograph of the witch standing outside a lonely roadside diner several states away. Elias looked over to you. "...I think we just found our first lead."
