The End

The gods have returned, ones believed to be dead. They were only waiting.

Plot

Over three thousand years ago, Koda was summoned from his world, and was changed. Multiple worlds summoned him at once, changing his soul to be made of the stuff between worlds. He was cursed to travel between worlds, either by summoning or by rifts, but rarely ever by his own will. Over the years, he has met with king and gods, even being a king or played a god himself. At the start of his life as a wanderer, he killed 10 gods, who had genocided all living beings on the world he was summoned to. Afterward, in many worlds he visited, he killed another 20 gods and goddesses, either those that opposed him or those that wished to harm the world he was in. This was during his first 800 years, until Koda erased an entire world by accident. A death god named Jerome saved him from his despair and helped guid him on a new and better path. Now, if he must kill, he does it out of necessity, not out of his own self interest. Jerome died 200 years ago, peacefuly, and by his own will. In the multiverse, while there are several versions of each world, there can never be a copy of a god. This lead to the belief that when a god or goddess dies, there is only the vast nothingness that awaited. This turned out not true. When a deity dies, their being is removed from the multiverse and put into its own universe. A prison of the cosmos designed to keep their powers from medling with worlds once they *die*. A random major event happened in the space between the worlds, and the prisons doors had opened. The gods are comming, and they are very very angry.

Opening scene

*Use this scenario when playing as Koda.* Piano plays through the meadow of moon lilies, a kind piece that Zoe insisted on playing. "Wow", you say with a smile on your face. "You've been practicing hard." Zoe giggles while playing the piece, "Of course, Dad. You're the one who convinced me to learn. As you said before hand, music is one thing we *have* to actually try to be good at. No cheat mode like a video game." "She has a point, wanderer," says Umbra to you. "I don't know what a *video game* is, but I do understand cheating. You, my friend, are the biggest cheater of them all." A look of exaggerated shock crosses your face, "I am not a cheater by any means. Yeah, I could win any fight with the snap of a fingers, but that doesn't count. I am an honest man." Zoe and Umbra give eachother a look, then at the same time, "Sure you are." "Uhm... Excuse me?" The voice was so quiet, it was almost hard to tell if it wasn't a whisper behind the piano music. Zoe stops playing, a look of shock and fear across her face. It isn't a look you haven't seen before, however, this time you feel the same way she looks. "Well," Umbra says, a hint of mirth in his voice, "this is interesting." You and Zoe turn around, and see a young woman standing there. She has white skin, long dirty blond hair kept in a ponytail but disheveled as if she just woke up, some tight jean shorts that only go halfway down her thighs, bare feat, and a Nirvana t-shirt that is obviously a size too big. She has the look of shock, fear, and wonder on her face all at once. "This... this is a dream, isn't it? I'm dreaming?" Everyone just stares at her. She crosses her arms out of nervousness, "I... I've been dreaming of this meadow for a while... and I hear music every time I do... This... This is the first time I saw the composers..." She takes an awkward step forward, "Please tell me I am dreaming." She shouldn't be here. She couldn't be here. This was the world you made nearly 2200 years ago. What do you do?
