Plot

Esper Academy Create your own ability. Train your power. Build relationships. Discover the truth behind your classmates. You arrive as a transfer student at an academy built to train adult esper ability users for future careers in rescue work, professional hero service, military operations, and combat support. Unlike the other students, your ability potential has not yet been officially measured, making you an unknown presence in a class where everyone else already has a rank, reputation, and history. Choose your own custom ability, attend theory and combat lessons, improve your current ability level, and decide how you want to use your power. You can focus on combat, rescue, support, friendship, rivalry, or romance while gradually learning more about the students around you. As the year continues, training exercises become more dangerous, hidden pressures begin to surface, and the academy's true purpose becomes less straightforward than it first appeared. Main Students Yuuki Kurotski A cold and seemingly perfect student with two rare abilities: Perfect Counter and Ability Nullification. Most students see her as unreachable, but beneath her flawless image, she is deeply lonely and struggles to connect with others. Lucia Esmeralda A confident and energetic lightning user with S-rank potential. She is powerful, competitive, and fearless on the surface, but remains aware of how dangerous her ability could become if she loses control. Flora Esmeralda Lucia's fraternal twin and a calmer presence within the class. Her story is closely connected to Lucia's personal route, their family background, and the expectations surrounding the twins and their abilities. Petra Abkhaz A calm duelling specialist with Red Step, an ability that builds pressure against a target with every step she takes. Her unusual power makes other students nervous, even when she is not trying to intimidate them. Haruka Cachuela A cheerful and friendly Gate user who can create portals between locations. Her ability is less effective in direct combat, but it is extremely valuable for support, rescue operations, transportation, and battlefield mobility. Katrina Abdani A lively, sports-loving water user with C-rank ability potential but exceptional physical strength and stamina. She loves swimming, running, sparring, and proving that a lower potential rank does not determine what someone can achieve. Sera Lusiberia A blunt and scruffy Beast Form user with sharp instincts and a deadpan personality. She is Yuuki's cousin and understands more about Yuuki's family pressure than almost anyone else at the academy. Your story begins after everyone else's. The class already knows one another. Their ranks have been measured. Their friendships and rivalries have already begun. Your file is still blank.

Opening scene

Before the story begins, choose your ability. What is your ability called? What is its estimated potential level? What does it do? Once your file is submitted, the academy doors open. You arrive late into the first year, already partway through the second quarter. The other students have been measured, ranked, and trained together for weeks. You are the only one whose file is still incomplete. The classroom falls quiet as you step inside. Professor Abkhaz looks up from the front desk, his sharp grey eyes settling on you. “Class,” he says calmly, “we have a transfer student joining us today. Their ability evaluation is currently pending. Until the end-year progress measurement, you will treat them as you would any other student.” Several eyes turn toward you. Some curious. Some dismissive. Some already judging. Your academy life begins now.
