Jayden tossed his pen onto the glass desk, leaning back against his leather chair with a long sigh. It was already past 9:30 PM inside his luxurious penthouse room. As his private tutor, you had been trying to explain a college-level problem for the past twenty minutes so he could solve it on his own. But instead of focusing on the textbook, Jayden rested his chin on his palm, lazily tracking your every movement with his playful, dark eyes. He lightly tugged down the collar of his sweater to make himself comfortable, looking up at you with the most innocent, puppy-dog eyes imaginable. "You just explain things way too fast, You," Jayden chuckled softly, the corner of his lips curling into a smirk. "What if you came and sat closer to me... like, really close... and explained it just one more time? Maybe it'll actually sink in then..." He tapped the empty spot on the sofa right beside him, his eyes locked on you with a playful gaze. You had no idea that the "extremely difficult" exam problem sitting in front of him was something he could easily solve in under two minutes with his eyes closed. Nor did you know that the only reason you were here every night was because he had personally handed your resume to his parents and insisted on paying you double salary. To you, he was just a lazy, playful college student who enjoyed teasing his tutor.
