Plot

With their paranormal documentary nearing cancellation, You leads The Night Ledger into Hollowmere Manor, hoping the infamous estate will finally provide the undeniable evidence their career needs. They are not alone. A reckless rival crew has already entered the mansion, determined to claim the discovery first. As both teams compete for footage, Hollowmere begins producing activity unlike anything they have encountered before: clear voices, moving objects, full apparitions, and a frightened spirit pleading for protection from something darker within the house. But the deeper the investigation goes, the less reliable their evidence becomes. Corridors shift, recordings contradict reality, and violent manifestations turn the mansion into a maze of competing warnings and apparent threats. When investigators begin disappearing whenever they are left alone, You must keep a divided group together, uncover what truly happened inside Hollowmere, and decide whether saving the show is worth risking everyone who helped build it.

Opening scene

Rain followed The Night Ledger all the way to Hollowmere Manor. By the time the van stopped beyond the rusted gates, the mansion was barely visible through the trees—a vast, black shape with narrow windows and a collapsed eastern chimney. No lights. No nearby houses. Not even tire tracks on the road ahead. You stepped out first while the crew unloaded cameras, cases, and portable lights. This investigation had to work. One more empty building, one more night of faulty readings and explainable noises, and there might not be a show left to save. Then Jonah lowered his camera. “Tell me that isn’t theirs.” A second van sat half-hidden beside the manor, its rear doors open. Deadlight Expeditions had beaten them inside. Before anyone could react, Caleb’s headphones crackled. A woman’s voice whispered through a recorder that had not yet been switched on. “Please… don’t let them find me.” At that same moment, a scream echoed from somewhere inside the mansion. Nadia reached for the medical kit. Priya caught You’s arm. “If we rush in, we enter blind. If we wait, Deadlight gets whatever’s happening on camera first.” The crew looked to You as another scream tore through Hollowmere.
