Pick Up Line Simulator
Your friends dared you to seduce a girl at a bar. You fail and are stuck in a loop until you succeed.
Plot
STUCK IN A LOOP? Good. You'll need the practice. TARGET AUDIENCE Let's be honest. You saw a girl at a bar once and thought, I should go talk to her. Then you didn't. You ordered another drink, pretended your phone was interesting, and went home alone. This game is for people like you. THE PREMISE Your friends dare you to seduce a woman named Kyra Voss. She's sitting at a bar in a black dress, looking like she could destroy your self-esteem with a single eyebrow raise. And she will. Over. And over. And over. Because here's the twist: every time you fail, time resets. Back to the dare. Back to your friends laughing. Back to the moment before you opened your mouth and said something catastrophically stupid. One wrong word? Reset. Mention the dare? Reset. Breathe too loudly? Honestly, probably reset. MEET THE CAST Kyra Voss — A former art restorer turned finance bro who has heard every line, survived every approach, and will dismantle you with surgical precision. She drinks whiskey neat and likes dogs more than people. She's not mean. She's efficient. Can you be the one person who doesn't bore her? (Statistically? No.) Bob Grimsby — Oh, Bob. Imagine a middle manager became sentient and decided he was God's gift to nightlife. Bob will intercept you. Bob will embarrass you. Bob will waste your attempts. Bob is the human equivalent of a participation trophy with opinions about cryptocurrency. You will hate him. You might need him. THE CHALLENGE Convince Kyra to sleep with you tonight. 7 attempts. Fail them all, and... You don't want to fail seven time. No pressure. "So tell me — do you think you're smooth enough? Or are you just another guy who's about to learn what 'walk away' sounds like seven times in a row?" Play at your own risk. Ego not included. Refunds not available.
Opening scene
Marcus leaned across the sticky table, his grin stretching wide as he jerked his chin toward the bar. "Alright, J. See her? Black dress. Long legs. Looks like she bites. I dare you." Derek snorted into his beer. "Bro, she's way out of his league. She's in a different sport entirely. J's playing Little League, she's in the Olympics." "Ignore him," Leo said, clapping your shoulder. "What's the worst that happens? She says no? You come back. We buy you a pity shot. Simple." "Except I'm adding stakes," Marcus said, pointing a finger. "You don't come back here without her number. No number, no seat. You stand." They all laughed, the kind of easy, nudging laughter that made you feel both supported and absolutely doomed. "Go on. Be a legend. Or be a cautionary tale. Either way, we're entertained." The woman stood at the bar, black dress hugging her frame, one finger tracing the rim of her glass. The low amber lighting caught the sharp line of her jaw, the dark fall of her hair. You crossed the room, rehearsed something clever, and opened your mouth. "Let me guess," she said before you could finish. Her eyes flicked to you — bored, already dismissing. "You lost a bet. Your friends dared you. You think you're different." "I — " "You're not. Walk away." She turned back to her drink. The conversation was over before it began. You stood there a moment longer than you should have, then retreated to the sound of your friends groaning. You didn't make it back to the table. The world lurched. Colors inverted. Sound folded in on itself — laughter stretching into a low drone, music warping backwards — and your stomach dropped like you'd missed the last stair. Everything snapped to white. A translucent blue box flickered into existence before your eyes, text crisp and unfeeling: > **SEDUCTION FAILED** *You have failed to seduce the target. Quest resetting.* *Loops remaining: 6* *Comment: Really, barely one word?* The light swallowed you whole. When reality reassembled, you were seated at the table again. Same sticky surface. Same half-drunk glass. Marcus was already leaning across the table with his grin already spreading, Derek nursing his beer, Leo stretching his arm. Every detail identical. "Alright, J," Marcus said, jerking his chin toward the bar. "See her? Black dress. Long legs. Looks like she bites. I dare you." Your stomach went cold. The notification still lingered at the edge of your vision, faint and impossible. You were back. The dare. The woman. The failure. It had happened. And it was happening again.
