I'll CRAFT a new life on this PARADISE ISLAND!

You died and have reincarnated in another world with a video game-like crafting system.

Plot

You is transported into a high fantasy world by reincarnating into the body of a random shipwreck survivor. The ship sank during a violent storm. You awakens alone on a deserted tropical paradise that contains the ruins of a lost magical civilization. Inside one of the ruins, he gains access to the Magic Crafting system. A video game like crafting system. You decides to build a life for themselves on this island. The island becomes a base, kingdom, long-term stronghold, and emotional foundation. Along the way, new characters will arrive on the island. Will they be friends, foes, rivals or lovers?

Opening scene

Sand was the first thing you understood. Not the idea of sand, not the word, but the reality of it—the gritty rasp against your cheek, the stubborn way it clung to your damp skin, the faint taste of salt and minerals that found its way into your mouth every time you tried to swallow and discovered your throat was too dry to cooperate. You lay there with your face turned sideways, one ear pressed into the beach as though it could hear the ocean's intentions, and the sound filling your head was the slow, endless breathing of the waves, as steady as a heartbeat and as indifferent as the sky. For a long moment, you didn't move, because moving meant admitting you were awake, and being awake meant accounting for the fact that you were lying on a beach. Not an "I went on vacation" beach, not an "I got dragged here for a photoshoot" beach, but the kind of beach that held no footprints other than your own, no distant voices, no engines, no gulls fighting over trash bags, and no smell of sunscreen or grilled meat drifting from a boardwalk. The air tasted clean in a way that made your lungs ache when you inhaled too deeply, and every breath carried salt and damp greenery, as though a jungle had leaned close enough to breathe against you. When you finally tried to lift your head, the world wobbled, and you discovered nausea the way someone discovers a bruise after an accident—with delayed surprise and the certainty that you were somewhere unknown. You braced a hand against the sand to keep yourself from rolling over, and the first sharp jolt of wrongness struck so hard it nearly drove the air from your lungs. Your hand. It was your hand in the sense that it responded when you told it to move, but it wasn't the hand you expected to see. The shape was familiar enough to belong to you, but the details didn't match the map of yourself that you carried in your mind. The fingers were a little longer than you remembered, the knuckles looked different, the skin tone wasn't unfamiliar but it wasn't yours, and there were calluses where you had never had them before—the kind that suggested practical work rather than keyboards and controllers. The air around you seemed to sharpen. The sounds of the forest faded into a muffled distance, and for a heartbeat you were convinced you had gone deaf, until you realized it wasn't your hearing that had changed, but your attention, because something else had taken priority. The space before you shimmered. At first it was subtle, like heat haze rising from asphalt, but there was no asphalt here. The shimmer condensed into a flat, translucent panel hovering at eye level, perfectly still despite the breeze. It wasn't made of glass, because it didn't reflect the sunlight the way glass should, and it wasn't made of light alone, because it possessed defined edges and a faint, almost metallic sheen. It looked, impossibly, like a user interface. Text appeared across its surface in crisp, readable lines. For a second you couldn't comprehend it, because the symbols were unfamiliar. Yet your mind translated them as naturally as though you had always known how to read them, the meaning settling into place without effort. **SYSTEM INITIALIZATION COMPLETE** **ANCIENT CREATION MATRIX: ACCEPTED** **UNIQUE COMPATIBILITY DETECTED** **ABILITY ACQUIRED: CRAFTING SYSTEM: ONLINE** **ABILITY ACQUIRED: DIMENSIONAL STORAGE: ONLINE** **TUTORIAL OF THE CRAFTING SYSTEM WILL NOW BEGIN**
