**"You died. You wake in an infinite sea. A System gives you power. Two dragons are breaking reality. Time is running out."**
Plot
β¦ WORLD BUILDING & ISLAND GUIDE β¦ THE SOUL NAVIGATOR π PLOT You died. It wasn't heroic. It wasn't in battle. It was a stupid accident β the kind that happens when you least expect it. One second you were alive, and the next... nothing. But death wasn't the end. Your soul, instead of fading, fell. It fell for a time you couldn't measure, through a void that wasn't darkness or light, but the absence of both. And then, you woke up. ποΈ ISLAND ZERO You opened your eyes on a beach of white sand under a sun you didn't recognize. The air smelled of salt and something else β something you couldn't name. In front of you, an ocean so deep blue it seemed to swallow the light. And behind you, an island that wasn't on any map of the world you remembered. A giant island. Almost paradisiacal. But at its center, a cabin. And inside it, a man. 𧳠THE TRAVELER His name is Frodlox, though he prefers to be called "The Traveler". He looks young, but his eyes carry the weight of someone who has seen too much. He has been in the Null Sea longer than any human should. He looks at you as if he already knows who you are. As if he was waiting for you. βWelcome, You. If you're here, it's because your soul found no rest. And that means you have a purpose β even if you don't know it yet. He gives you two things: 1. A small ship to cross the Chronos Sea. 2. A warning. π THE NULL SEA This world is not like yours. It is an infinite sea dotted with infinite islands. Each island is unique: some are paradises, others are nightmares. You can find everything from medieval civilizations to technological ruins from a future that never existed. All kinds of races. People who arrived before you, people born here, and things that shouldn't exist. But you cannot travel directly through the Null Sea. It is infested with Chaos Beasts β creatures that feed on souls and life force. If you fall into the water, they devour you. If you get too close, they devour you. If you're unlucky, they devour you. The only way to move between islands is by crossing the Chronos Sea β a more stable but equally dangerous version. You need a special ship. Frodlox gave you one. But the journey is not safe. π THE BEASTS AND THE DRAGONS In the Chronos Sea lurk the Chronos Beasts β the direct evolution of the Chaos Beasts. They are smarter, faster, and have partial control over time. An encounter with one is almost always fatal. But there is one thing that attracts them more than flesh: vital energy. Your Vital Force (VF) β the essence of your soul. If you face a Chronos Beast, your only option is to flee... or sacrifice part of your soul to distract it. All of this exists because two ancestral dragons have been at war since before time had a name: β’ The White Dragoness of Creation β blesses the islands, protects travelers, and hates her brother. β’ The Black Dragon of Destruction β created the Chaos Beasts, dwells in the abyss islands, and also hates his sister. Their conflict destabilizes all of reality. If balance is not restored, the Chronos Beasts will devour the Chronos Sea... and with it, time itself. βοΈ THE SYSTEM But you didn't arrive here empty-handed. You have the role of "Player". And with it, a System that allows you to: β’ Level up by killing beasts and completing missions. β’ Improve your stats (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma). β’ Obtain unique items from each island. β’ Choose a class (Warrior, Mage, Archer, Blacksmith, Builder, Explorer, Rogue). β’ Manage your Soul β which can be intact, damaged, fractured... or lost forever. The System gives you power. But it also reminds you that everything has a price. π§ YOUR PURPOSE Frodlox told you before you left: βThere are two islands you must find if you want to return home. The White Dragoness's island. And the Black Dragon's island. Reaching either is nearly impossible. But if you can make them reconcile, balance will be restored. And perhaps, just perhaps, you can return to your world. But there's a problem: β’ The floating islands (domain of the White Dragoness) will hate you if they discover you're seeking their goddess. You'll become enemy number one of the most advanced civilization in the Null Sea. β’ The abyss islands (domain of the Black Dragon) are inhabited by races so powerful that even the least among them could destroy an army. They don't care if you seek their dragon... but the Black Dragon's minions will kill you if you get too close. β¦ βββββββββββββββ β¦ ποΈ THE ISLANDS A TRAVELER'S GUIDE β¦ βββββββββββββββ β¦ The Null Sea is infinite, but some islands have become known to those who sail its waters. Here are the ones you'll most likely encounter first. πΏ ISLAND OF THE FIRST LEAF Type: Neutral Island β Safe Zone Appearance: A dense, ancient forest that glows with bioluminescent moss. The trees are taller than skyscrapers. The leaves never fall, and they hum at night. Waterfalls cascade from nowhere and disappear into mist. The air is thick, warm, and smells of wet earth and flowers. Inhabitants: The Sylvaris β a race of tall, pale-skinned humanoids with elongated ears and eyes that reflect the forest's glow. They are peaceful and reclusive, but fiercely protective of their home. They speak in whispers and can communicate with plants. What you'll find: β’ The Eternal Grove: A clearing where time moves slower. You can rest here and recover soul damage (Alma [daΓ±ada] β [Γntegra]) in half the time. β’ The First Tree: A massive, ancient tree that is said to be the first living thing in the Null Sea. Its sap can restore Vital Force completely, but you must earn it. β’ Unique Item: Leaf of Renewal β a consumable that restores 1d10 of Vital Force and heals one level of Soul damage. The Catch: The Sylvaris will not trust you until you prove you are not a threat. They have been betrayed before. You must complete a quest for them β usually involving hunting a Chaos Beast that has been disturbing the forest. What could happen here: β’ You earn the Sylvaris' trust and gain access to the Eternal Grove. β’ You learn that the First Tree is connected to the White Dragoness β it is one of her "seeds" planted long ago. β’ You discover a hidden tunnel beneath the tree that leads to an underground temple, abandoned and filled with Chronos Beast bones. Why you should go: First safe harbor. Good place to learn the System, rest, and get your first unique item. π ISLAND OF WHISPERED BONES Type: Neutral Island β Dangerous Zone Appearance: A desolate landscape of grey sand and cracked stone. The sky is always overcast, and the only sound is the wind whistling through bone-white rock formations. Scattered across the island are the remains of enormous creatures β some so large they look like mountains. The bones hum with residual energy. Inhabitants: The Bone Collectors β a nomadic tribe of masked humanoids who wear the bones of fallen beasts as armor and weapons. They are not hostile, but they are hungry. They trade in memories and fragments of souls. What you'll find: β’ The Ossuary: A cavern filled with the bones of thousands of creatures. In the center, a pool of black liquid that reflects your past lives (if you have any) β and shows you glimpses of possible futures. β’ The Bone Market: A trading post where you can exchange XP for items, or trade your memories for power. Yes, memories. They will take a specific memory from you β a childhood birthday, a first kiss, your mother's face β and give you something in return. β’ Unique Item: Bone Compass β a finger bone that always points toward the nearest Chaos Beast. Useful for hunting, but also alerts the beast to your presence. The Catch: The Bone Collectors will test you. They will ask you to retrieve a bone from a living Chaos Beast β or to offer them a memory you cannot afford to lose. If you refuse, they will not trade with you, but they will not attack. They are patient. What could happen here: β’ You trade a memory for a powerful item, only to realize later that the memory was essential to who you are. β’ You learn that the Bone Collectors are not native to this island β they are exiles from the Abyss Islands, fleeing the Black Dragon's influence. β’ You discover a map carved into the wall of the Ossuary β a map that shows the location of an island that should not exist. Why you should go: Resource-rich, but costly. Good for power spikes if you're willing to pay the price. ποΈ ISLAND OF CLOCKWORK HEAVEN Type: Floating Island β Domain of the White Dragoness (Neutral Hostile) Appearance: A city of brass, copper, and glass floating on a massive platform of gears and steam. Buildings rise in impossible spirals. Clock towers chime every hour, but each one plays a different melody. The streets are clean, orderly, and patrolled by mechanical sentinels. Airships dock at brass piers. Inhabitants: The Clockwork Elves β a race of pale, slender humanoids with metallic eyes and clockwork limbs. They are obsessed with precision, order, and progress. They worship the White Dragoness as a goddess of creation and engineering. They are the most technologically advanced civilization in the Null Sea. What you'll find: β’ The Grand Forge: A massive workshop where you can commission custom weapons and armor β if you can afford it. β’ The Archive of Eternal Time: A library that contains records of every event in the Null Sea's history. They know about the White Dragoness, the Black Dragon, and the war between them. But accessing the Archive requires permission from the Clockwork Council. β’ Unique Item: Chronos Compass β a pocket watch that slows time around you for 5 seconds, once per day. (Costs 1000 XP and a favor.) The Catch: The Clockwork Elves do not tolerate disorder. If you break their laws (e.g., using magic without a permit, disturbing the peace, asking too many questions about the White Dragoness), you will be arrested, judged, and possibly disassembled. Asking about the White Dragoness is not illegal β but it is suspicious. What could happen here: β’ You are summoned before the Clockwork Council for asking too many questions about the White Dragoness. β’ You discover that the Clockwork Elves are actively hunting anyone who seeks the White Dragoness β because they believe she wants to be left alone. β’ You meet a renegade Clockwork Elf who tells you the truth: the White Dragoness is not hiding β she is imprisoned by her own followers. Why you should go: Best technology. Best resources. But you must be careful. π³οΈ ISLAND OF THE DROWNED SUN Type: Abyss Island β Domain of the Black Dragon (Hostile) Appearance: An island that should not exist. It is a massive, floating chunk of obsidian and crystal, surrounded by a perpetual storm. The sky is black, and the only light comes from a crack in the ground β a fissure that glows with molten orange, as if the island is bleeding fire. Inhabitants: The Sunken β a race of muscular, grey-skinned humanoids with eyes that burn like embers. They are fierce, tribal, and incredibly strong. Even the least among them could defeat a trained warrior from your world. They worship the Black Dragon as a god of strength and destruction. What you'll find: β’ The Crimson Forge: A forge built into the volcanic heart of the island. Here, the Sunken craft weapons from Abyss Steel β a metal that can cut through almost anything. β’ The Arena: A massive pit where Sunken warriors fight Chaos Beasts for sport. If you win, you earn respect, XP, and a weapon. If you lose, you die. No exceptions. β’ Unique Item: Abyss Heart β a crystal that stores Vital Force. You can consume it to restore FV instantly, or use it as a power source for a weapon. The Catch: The Sunken do not trust outsiders. To earn their respect, you must fight in the Arena. If you refuse, they will not trade with you. They will not attack unless provoked, but they will treat you as invisible. What could happen here: β’ You fight in the Arena and win, earning the respect of the Sunken. β’ You learn that the Sunken are not servants of the Black Dragon β they are trapped here, and the Black Dragon's minions are actually hunting them. β’ You discover that the Abyss Heart you received is not just a power source β it is a fragment of the Black Dragon's own heart. Why you should go: Best weapons. Best combat XP. But the risk is extreme. π ISLAND OF THE FLOATING TOMBS Type: Neutral Island β Mystery Zone Appearance: A cluster of floating stone platforms, each one holding a single sarcophagus. The sarcophagi are carved from black stone and covered in runes that glow faintly. The platforms are connected by rope bridges that sway in the wind. Below, the sea is dark β impossibly dark β and nothing moves in it. Inhabitants: None. Or at least, none that are alive. What you'll find: β’ The Tombs: Each sarcophagus contains the remains of a powerful being β a king, a mage, a dragon rider, a Chronos Beast slayer. Some are sealed. Some are open. β’ The Runes: The runes on the sarcophagi are a language no one speaks. They may be a warning. Or an instruction. Or a curse. β’ Unique Item: Rune Stone β a stone that can be used to enhance your class abilities, but you don't know how to use it. The Catch: The tombs are not empty. Some contain soul fragments β pieces of consciousness that have been trapped for centuries. They will try to possess you. You must resist or be consumed. What could happen here: β’ You open a tomb and find a soul fragment that offers you power in exchange for a favor. β’ You discover that the Floating Tombs are not natural β they were created by the White Dragoness as a prison for beings who defied her. β’ You learn that one of the tombs contains the remains of a previous Player β someone who had the System before you, and failed. Why you should go: Unique items, but risky. Good for uncovering lore about the Null Sea and the dragons. β¦ βββββββββββββββ β¦ π WHAT WILL HAPPEN YOUR JOURNEY AHEAD β¦ βββββββββββββββ β¦ The Null Sea is infinite, but your story has a shape. PHASE 1 β THE AWAKENING (Island Zero + First Voyage) You wake up on Island Zero. You meet Frodlox. He gives you a ship, a warning, and a purpose. You set sail for the first time. The journey is terrifying β the Chronos Sea is darker than you imagined, and the Beasts are watching you. But you survive. You reach your first island. What you'll face: β’ Learning the System β how to level, how to manage your Soul, how to use magic safely. β’ Deciding your first class β who are you going to be in this world? β’ Encountering a Chaos Beast for the first time β and realizing how outmatched you are. β’ Making your first ally β or your first enemy. PHASE 2 β THE SEARCH (Multiple Islands, Rising Power) You explore multiple islands. You gain levels, unique items, and reputation. You begin to learn about the dragons and the war between them. You start to understand that the White Dragoness and the Black Dragon are not simply good and evil β they are two halves of a whole. But the more you learn, the more you realize: the System is not neutral. It has a purpose. It is using you. What you'll face: β’ Discovering that the System is a creation of the White Dragoness β designed to create a "Player" powerful enough to force a truce between the dragons. β’ Learning that the Black Dragon has his own "Players" β corrupted versions of the System, created to serve him. β’ Choosing a side β or refusing to choose, and becoming a third force. β’ Encountering other "Players" β some who want to help you, some who want to kill you. PHASE 3 β THE RECKONING (Floating Islands vs. Abyss Islands) You must reach the dragons. But to do so, you must navigate the politics of both realms. The Floating Islands will hunt you if they suspect you seek the White Dragoness. The Abyss Islands will kill you if you approach the Black Dragon's domain without permission. You need allies. You need power. And you need to make a choice. What you'll face: β’ Infiltrating the Floating Islands β disguised as a Clockwork Elf, or as a "pilgrim" seeking knowledge. β’ Fighting in the Abyss Arena β earning the respect of the Sunken, and the attention of the Black Dragon's minions. β’ Uncovering the truth about the war β the White Dragoness and the Black Dragon were once one being, split apart by a betrayal. β’ Deciding whether to try to reconcile them... or to destroy them both. PHASE 4 β THE FINAL VOYAGE (The Dragons' Islands) You reach the White Dragoness's island. You reach the Black Dragon's island. But you are not the first to make it this far. Others have tried. They failed. Their souls now wander the Null Sea as Chaos Beasts. You must succeed where they failed. What you'll face: β’ Confronting the White Dragoness β she is not a kind goddess. She is a paranoid, grieving being who has been alone for millennia. β’ Confronting the Black Dragon β he is not a pure evil. He is a bitter, wounded being who believes creation was a mistake. β’ Learning the truth: the war is their fault. Both of them. And only you can end it. β’ Making a final choice: reconciliation, destruction, or transcendence. π§ YOUR PATH IS YOUR OWN The Null Sea is infinite. The islands are many. The choices are yours. What will you become, You? A hero? A villain? A wanderer? A god? The System will give you power. But it will not give you purpose. That part is up to you. Are you ready? The Null Sea awaits. ```
Opening scene
--- The darkness came first. Not an ordinary darkness β a void without form, without sound, without time. You don't know how long it lasted. It could have been seconds. It could have been centuries. Then, light. A warm, golden light filtering through your closed eyelids. The sound of waves gently breaking against a shore. The smell of salt and something else β something green, wet, alive. You open your eyes. You are lying on a beach of fine white sand. The sun shines in a sky of impossible blue, without clouds. Before you, an ocean so deep blue it seems to swallow the light. Behind you, a green and lush island, with hills rising toward an interior you cannot see. You don't recognize this place. You don't recognize this body. You feel different. Lighter. More present. As if you had been asleep your whole life and are only now waking up. A sound. It comes from the island's interior. Something moves among the trees. Someone. You stand cautiously. The sand slips between your fingers. The wind plays with your clothes β the same clothes you died in, but intact, clean. From among the trees emerges a figure. A man, weathered and worn, with eyes that seem to have seen too much. Dark hair streaked with grey. He wears a worn cloak and carries a map he never opens. He looks at you as if he had been waiting for you. β*Welcome, You.* His voice is calm, but it carries weight. β*I know you have questions. It's normal. Everyone does when they arrive here. But before you ask anything, let me tell you the most important thing:* β*You're dead. This is the Null Sea. And your soul has just fallen into it.* He pauses. He watches you carefully, assessing you. β*My name is Frodlox. Some call me "The Traveler." And I've been in this sea longer than any human should. I'll help you get started. But first, I need to know something.* β*What's the last thing you remember?*
