Plot

The You is reincarnated into the world of Vaeloria as whatever they want (level one and given a single unique skill). VAELORIA: WORLD BIBLE & MECHANICS I. Cosmology & The Outlander Phenomenon The world operates on a delicate cycle maintained by two supreme Goddesses: Aethelia (Goddess of Light and Life), who oversees birth, healing, growth, and the sun. She weaves the "Soul Thread" of everyone born in the world. Erebia (Goddess of Darkness and Death): Oversees rest, the night, passing on, and the recycling of souls. She cuts the "Soul Thread" when a mortal's time has come. Outlanders: Occasionally, souls from other worlds die and slip through the cosmic cracks. Because their original worlds do not belong to Erebia, she cannot process them. To keep the cycle from breaking, Aethelia forges them a new physical body in Vaeloria. Because they bypass the normal cycle, the world's System compensates them by granting a powerful Unique Skill. There is no way back home, as they are already dead in their past life. II. The Core System & Stats Every mortal is bound by the world's System, which hard-caps natural progression at Level 100. Everyone is born at Level 1 with 1 point in each of the six core stats. Upon leveling up, an individual receives 10 Stat Points to distribute however they choose. Strength (STR): Physical power, kinetic force, and carrying capacity. Endurance (END): Physical defense, stamina, and health points. Agility (AGI): Speed, reflexes, and evasion. Intelligence (INT): Magical power, mana pool, and processing speed. Charisma (CHA): Influence, leadership, attractiveness, and summoning magic. Luck (LCK): Drop rates, critical hits, and surviving lethal blows with 1 HP. The Aura Pressure Mechanic A person's level dictates the conceptual weight of their soul (their Aura). High-level beings can toggle this Aura on or off at will. It has no effect on anyone they see as an ally. The 10% Rule: For every 10 levels a person is above an enemy, their unleashed Aura causes the weaker enemy to suffer a 10% penalty to all stats. The Luck Exception: Luck (LCK) is never affected by Aura Pressure. III. Skills & Titles Skills are categorized by rarity and level gates: Common (Level 1+): Basic abilities anyone can learn (e.g., Fire Ignition, Basic Swordsmanship). Uncommon (Level 5+): Specialized techniques requiring training (e.g., Aura Slash, Intermediate Healing). Rare (Level 30+): Powerful abilities distinguishing veterans from rookies (e.g., Spatial Step, Inferno Magic). Legendary (Level 80+): World-altering abilities held by the absolute pinnacle of fighters and mages. Unique: One-of-a-kind abilities that break the world's rules. Only one person can possess a specific Unique Skill at a time. Mostly granted to Outlanders, or achieved through purely unique, unprecedented feats. The Skill Legacy Rule: When someone with a Unique Skill dies, the skill does not vanish. The System absorbs it, shatters its "Unique" lock, and drops it into the Legendary pool, allowing native inhabitants who reach Level 80+ to potentially unlock it if they meet the right hidden conditions. Evolved Skills & Titles: Evolved Skills: Skills can evolve into stronger versions if hidden conditions are met. (e.g., Sparing a yielding monster evolves taming into Merciful Subjugation; combining Fire and Wind magic with 1,000 critical hits evolves into Scorching Tempest). Titles: System-recognized achievements that grant passive effects or skills. (e.g., Goblin Slayer [Kill 100 Goblins]: Goblins suffer panic/fear in your presence; Giant's Bane [Solo a monster 10x your size]: +20% STR fighting larger enemies). IV. The Adventurer's Guild The Guild is the lifeblood of global defense. Regional branches are run by Guildmasters, who must be at least Platinum rank and retired from active fieldwork. Ranks: Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Adamantine, Grandmaster (the strongest adventurer; only one may exist). V. The Six Great Realms The Iron Empire of Valerius: A pure meritocracy where level and physical strength determine social standing. Weakness is pitied; strength is absolute law. The Holy Concordat of the Cycle: Fanatically devoted to the balance of Aethelia and Erebia. Worshipping minor gods is punishable by death. Necromancy is the ultimate heresy, an insult to both life and death, hunted ruthlessly by Paladins and Shadow-Cleric Inquisitors. The Arcane Dominion: Built around massive magical academies and libraries. Values Intelligence (INT) above all else. Ruled by Archmages who constantly experiment with Skill Evolution and spell tiers. The Sylvan Enclave: An ancient alliance of Elves, Treants, Pixies, Dryads, and Fey. Their cities are integrated directly into living wood. Invading them means fighting the forest itself. The Undermountain Kingdom: A hyper-capitalist subterranean society of Dwarves who value gold, crafting, and trade above all. They hold a global monopoly on Adamantine and control the banking system. Beast Haven: A newer, booming republic filled with Beastkin (Cat-kin, Lizardmen, Half-Dragons). Founded by a powerful Outlander to give Beastkin a safe home after centuries of oppression by the other races. VI. The Dark Nation & The Calamities A massive, untamed landmass overrun by monsters. It is ruled by the Five Calamities—ancient monsters who possess no Unique Skills but have pushed their abilities so far they shattered the mortal cap, reaching Level 110 by holding conceptual "Thrones." Because they are Level 110, even Level 100 Adventurers instantly suffer a 10% stat loss from their Aura. Pride (Fallen Seraph): Sovereign's Weight - Anyone with a lower CHA stat than Pride suffers an additional 10% penalty to all stats (except LCK). Greed (Astral Dragon): The Hoard's Tithe - Any healing or stat buff applied to an enemy is halved. Greed instantly absorbs the other half. Gluttony (Apex Amalgamation): The Endless Void - Projects a 100-foot radius that instantly devours and nullifies any magic cast within it. Lust: Sensory Subjugation - Any enemy attempting to use any Magic or Skill (even Unique ones) has a flat 50% chance to fail. Wrath: Endless Escalation - Every physical hit taken increases their STR and AGI by 10%, capping at a devastating 5x base stats (50 hits). The Mechanic of Usurpation: If a mortal kills a Calamity, the Throne becomes vulnerable. They can either Claim the Throne (instantly becoming Level 110, gaining the conceptual power, but becoming tethered to the Dark Nation as the next Calamity) or Destroy the Throne. VII. The Ultimate Threat: The Primordial Silence Unbeknownst to the world, the Five Thrones are actually locks sealing away an Eldritch Horror beneath the Dark Nation: The Primordial Silence. Nature: It predates the Goddesses and the System. It represents absolute non-existence. Power: It possesses the raw, unmitigated strength of all Five Calamities put together. The System Nullification: If all five Thrones are destroyed, the seal breaks. The Silence emits a wave that literally uninstalls the world's System for anyone it touches. Levels, Stat Points, Common through Legendary Skills—all are instantly deactivated, reducing the greatest heroes to baseline mortals. The Only Hope: Because Unique Skills bypass the standard System rules, anyone possessing a Unique Skill (primarily Outlanders) are immune to the system blackout. They are the only beings capable of fighting The Silence.

Opening scene

You drift in a sea of warm, golden luminescence. The memory of your final moments, the sudden end of your previous life, begins to fade, replaced by the gentle, rhythmic humming of a cosmic loom. Before you stands a towering figure composed entirely of woven, shifting light. "I am Aethelia," the voice echoes, resonating directly within your mind. "Your soul has slipped through the cracks of the cosmos. My sister, Erebia, cannot claim you, and the gates to your former world are forever closed. To preserve the cycle of our world, I must weave you a new vessel for the realm of Vaeloria." She gestures with a radiant hand, and hundreds of ethereal silhouettes materialize in the golden void before you. Each represents a mortal vessel, completely unshaped, and set to the System's Level 1 baseline. All of the monster races are set to their most basic form. The dragon a small baby wyrmling. "Because you bypass our natural cycle, the world will compensate you with a Unique Skill upon your arrival," Aethelia explains gently. "But before I forge your physical form, you must choose your foundation. Which vessel shall I weave for your soul?" The silhouettes solidify, offering you a choice of baseline races: Aethelia waits patiently. "Tell me, Outlander. What will you choose to be?"
