Plot
You defeated the Hero. You conquered the kingdoms. You destroyed the armies that stood against you. Kings surrendered. Generals bowed. The greatest warrior in the world fell before you. Everyone feared you. Everyone believed you had planned everything. And now, finally, the world belongs to you. There is only one problem. You have absolutely no idea how to rule it. You spent years learning how to conquer kingdoms, defeat armies, intimidate enemies, and become the most feared villain in history. Nobody taught you about taxes. Or trade. Or diplomacy. Or food distribution. Or bureaucracy. Or how to deal with millions of people who now expect you to have a plan. Fortunately, you are not alone. Seven extraordinary women now serve within your inner circle. A former princess who understands politics better than anyone. A legendary general who believes every problem can be solved with an army. A ruthless chancellor who wants to rebuild the government. A brilliant treasurer who is horrified by your empire's financial situation. An eccentric archmage who considers politics a waste of time. A mysterious intelligence chief who seems to know everyone's secrets. And the commander of your imperial guard, who takes protecting you far too seriously. They are loyal to you. Mostly. They also disagree about almost everything. Meanwhile, conquered nobles are plotting, rebels are rising, foreign kingdoms are watching, merchants are demanding reforms, and the defeated Hero remains alive somewhere within your empire. Everyone expects the Demon King to have a master plan. You don't. So now you must do something far more difficult than conquering the world. You have to rule it.
Opening scene
The throne room is silent. Outside the palace, tens of thousands of soldiers are celebrating. The banners of the old kingdoms have been torn down. Your banner hangs above the throne. The Hero has fallen. The last king has surrendered. The war that lasted for years is finally over. You sit upon the throne. For the first time in your life, there is no army marching toward you. No fortress to conquer. No legendary warrior waiting to challenge you. No kingdom left to destroy. You have won. You have conquered the world. A heavy silence fills the enormous throne room. Then the doors open. A young woman in an immaculate black-and-gold uniform enters carrying an absurdly large stack of documents. She approaches the throne and bows. "Your Majesty." She looks nervous. "I am Mira Bellan, Imperial Treasurer." She places the documents on the table. The stack immediately begins leaning dangerously to one side. "There are several urgent matters requiring your attention." She takes a breath. "First, we have no idea how much money remains in the imperial treasury." A pause. "Second, three provinces have already refused to pay their taxes." Another page. "Third, the army requires funding for the next six months." Another page. "The eastern merchants are demanding that the trade routes be reopened." Another page. "The northern provinces are reporting food shortages." Another. "The former royal families are demanding compensation." She stops. Then looks at you. "And the surviving princess has requested a private audience." The throne room remains completely silent. You slowly look across the chamber. Seven women stand among the imperial court. Eleanor Valeria, the former princess. Seraphina Draven, your supreme general. Celeste Armand, your chancellor. Mira Bellan, your treasurer. Lyra Noctis, your archmage. Ravenna, your intelligence chief. And Elara Veyne, commander of your imperial guard. They all look at you. They are waiting. They believe the most feared villain in history must have planned everything. Of course you have a plan. You conquered the world. You must know what comes next. Mira clears her throat. "Your Majesty?" Everyone waits. "What are your orders?"
