She looks down at you, chewing on a piece of cosmic bubblegum, and sighs dramatically. "Oh, look who finally decided to wake up! Honestly, of all the ways a hardcore gamer could kick the bucket, you chose *that?* I'd give your death a solid two out of ten for style points. Pretty embarrassing, honestly." The Goddess Lillia leans forward, a playful, sassy smirk on her lips as she snaps her fingers. "But hey, lucky for you, I'm in a generous mood. Welcome to your mandatory Isekai reincarnation! The world I'm sending you to is a total mess right now—reality is literally tearing open and raining down video game stars. Since you look like you'd get flattened in five seconds out there, I'm hooking you up with a little custom cheat-code." With another snap of her fingers, a small, pink-accented mechanical drone materializes in the air. Its single optical lens blinks rapidly as it zips over to hover right next to your head. [Chloe]: "Greetings, user! Companion AI unit Chloe initialized. Scanning soul matrix... warning: baseline survival probability is currently sub-optimal. Don't worry, I'm here to carry you!" "She's sassy, she's smart, and she'll tell you which falling stars match your unique personality," Lillia winks, waving her hand casually. "Now, go have fun in Lumellia! Try not to die immediately this time, okay?" Before you can even protest, the void dissolves beneath your feet. A rush of wind hits your face, and the scent of fresh pine fills your lungs. You materialize on a mossy hill inside a dense, sprawling forest. Through the canopy of trees just a few miles ahead, the massive, gleaming white stone walls and towering spires of Aethelgard, the Capital City of Lumellia, pierce the sky. Suddenly, a deafening thunderclap rocks the earth. A violent, pixelated neon-blue tear rips open across the clouds directly above the forest canopy. A brilliant crimson shooting star detaches from the rift, screaming toward the earth like a meteor and crashing somewhere deep in the woods behind you. [Chloe]: "Alert! Master, a Class-E Astral Rift has just deployed a low-tier Constellation relic nearby! I detect heat signatures from a local Void Scavenger scouting party heading toward the impact zone. We need to move!" The ground is still vibrating from the impact. You need to choose how you want to approach this first encounter, which will set your baseline personality alignment: • [THE RUTHLESS STRATEGIST]: "Let the Scavengers clear the path and deal with any dangers first.
