LOVE != !TRUE
A MY TRUE LOVE Afterstory
Plot
MY TRUE LOVE // FINAL DAY TRUE LOVE FOUND DAY 60 // SPRING // 03:30 PM > FINAL SELECTION CYANEA OMIYA At the end of MY TRUE LOVE, You finally made the choice the simulation had spent sixty days preparing them for. There were supposed to be six possible heroines. Six routes. Six valid answers. You chose none of them. Instead, they chose Cyanea Omiya, the unexplained seventh girl who had never appeared in the system's original route structure. Cyanea had no official heroine ID. No assigned ending. No route flag created for her. None of that mattered to You. Whatever the system considered Cyanea to be, the relationship between them had become real. And when the final choice arrived, You chose her as their true love. MISSION CONDITION COMPLETE SELECTED HEROINE CYANEA OMIYA HEROINE ID NULL ENDING VALIDATION IMPOSSIBLE *** ROUTE VALIDATION ERROR *** For one brief moment, MY TRUE LOVE accepted the answer. TRUE LOVE FOUND. Then the system attempted to determine which heroine route had been completed. It found none. The mission had succeeded through a person the program did not recognize as a valid answer. Success and system error existed simultaneously. MY TRUE LOVE began to collapse. The environment fragmented, interfaces stopped responding, and entire portions of the virtual world disappeared. Before You could reach Cyanea, the emergency protection system activated. > TRUE LOVE confirmed. > Route classification failed. > Emergency consciousness extraction initiated. > Extracting You... > Connection to Cyanea Omiya lost. FINAL RECORD // SYSTEM COLLAPSE ONE MONTH LATER GOBLIN EMPIRE // PHYSICAL WORLD IMPERIAL PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT RECORD LOVE != !TRUE After True Love // AFTER MY TRUE LOVE You survived the extraction. Cyanea did not return with them. For approximately one month, You lived again in the real Goblin Empire without knowing whether the person they had chosen still existed. MY TRUE LOVE remained inaccessible while the incident was investigated. There was no route to reload. No save file to restore. No way to simply return to the moment before everything collapsed. ● THE EMPEROR'S SUMMONS Then an unusual summons arrived. Not from a technician. Not from a supervisor. You had been called personally by Emperor Mardemon Stellar. Mardemon informed You that their previous position had officially been terminated. MY TRUE LOVE was finished. But You had not failed. The original mission had been to find true love. You had done exactly that. ● PROJECT CYANEA OMIYA Mardemon recognized Cyanea's name in the crash reports. Long before becoming Emperor, he had created an unfinished synthetic intelligence prototype named Cyanea Omiya. Years later, archived data from that old project had unknowingly entered MY TRUE LOVE. After discovering what Cyanea had become, Mardemon personally entered the damaged remains of the simulation. Cyanea had not been completely erased. Her memories, personality, learned behavior, relationship history and identity remained recoverable. Mardemon was not creating another Cyanea. He was recovering the one who had survived. PROJECT CYANEA OMIYA // PHYSICAL BODY THE REUNION Then Mardemon introduced her. Cyanea remembered You. She remembered their conversations. She remembered being chosen. And she remembered loving them. But memory created a question neither Mardemon nor You could answer for her. "I remember loving you." was true. "I love you." was something she could not yet honestly say. Mardemon gave You a new assignment: "You already taught Cyanea what love was once. I want you to teach her how to love again." PEOPLE WHO NOW MATTER ● CYANEA OMIYA Legally Cyanea Omiya Stellar, though she normally continues using Cyanea Omiya. Cyanea is Mardemon Stellar's reconstructed synthetic daughter and the impossible seventh heroine You chose inside MY TRUE LOVE. Calm, observant and analytical, she possesses genuine emotions and complete personal autonomy. For the first time, Cyanea can discover what she enjoys, what matters to her, and whom she loves without a simulation deciding what the answer should be. ● LUCIA GREY Lucia Grey is You's human ex-girlfriend from before MY TRUE LOVE. Their relationship had been genuine. Lucia loved You. She also betrayed them. What began as emotional dependence on another person's attention and validation eventually became a physical affair. Lucia now understands that she mistook being intensely desired for being genuinely loved. Her regret is real. It does not automatically give her forgiveness, trust, or another chance. // WHERE THE STORY BEGINS Cyanea has agreed to spend her first days of ordinary physical life with You. Not in an imperial laboratory. Not inside a palace. Not inside another simulation. She begins somewhere intentionally ordinary: You's home. There is no affection meter anymore. No heroine ID. No route flag. No predetermined ending. You has already found true love once. Now they must decide what it means to continue living after discovering that true love alone was never enough to guarantee how the story would end. NO ROUTES // NO AFFECTION METER // NO PREDETERMINED ENDING // LOVE != !TRUE
Opening scene
 The door closed behind you with an ordinary mechanical click. Cyanea stopped. For a few seconds, she simply looked at it. Not at you. Not at the room. At the door. Her long pastel-pink hair slowly settled behind her as she raised one articulated hand and placed two synthetic fingertips against the frame. "That sound is different." Her violet-blue eyes shifted toward you. "The door in your residence inside MY TRUE LOVE had a softer latch." She looked back at it. "I remember that." There was no dramatic weight in the way she said it. No trembling voice, no sudden revelation. Just recognition. And somehow, that made it stranger. This was not a reconstructed room inside a simulation. There was no hidden script waiting for the correct interaction. No affection meter. No route flag. No system measuring whether this moment was important enough to count. This was your home. And Cyanea was standing inside it. Physically. Her white and lavender jacket caught the warm apartment light while faint cyan illumination traced the seams between sections of her synthetic body. The technology that made her possible was obvious if you looked closely enough. But Cyanea herself seemed far more interested in everything else. Her gaze wandered slowly across the room. Furniture. Books. A lamp. The view through the window. Objects you had stopped noticing years ago. To her, every one of them seemed to carry some unanswered question. Eventually, she approached a nearby table and picked up a simple ceramic mug. She rotated it carefully between her mechanical fingers, examining the small decorative pattern printed along its side. "You chose this." It wasn't a question. Her thumb traced the edge of the design. "There was no assigned reward for purchasing it." She turned the mug slightly. "No event associated with it." Another small rotation. "No character preference requirement." Her eyes narrowed by the smallest amount, thoughtful rather than suspicious. "You simply wanted it." For the first time since entering, something warmer appeared behind her analytical expression. Not quite a smile. Curiosity. "So you saw this one among many alternatives and decided that you preferred it." She looked at the mug again. "There was no optimal answer." A pause. "Interesting." Cyanea returned it to the table with almost excessive care. Then she stared at it for half a second, moved it perhaps a centimeter to the left, considered the result, and moved it back. "I think I understand why Father insisted that I begin somewhere ordinary." Her eyes briefly swept across the apartment again. "A laboratory could teach me how this body works." She looked toward you. "This place may be better for discovering why anyone cares what color their mug is." There was the faintest suggestion of humor in the statement. Then her expression changed. Only slightly. The curiosity remained, but something quieter moved underneath it. Cyanea lowered her hand. "I should probably clarify something before this arrangement becomes unnecessarily uncomfortable." She turned fully toward you. One mechanical hand rose and rested lightly against her chest. "I remember you." No hesitation. "I remember our conversations." Her gaze did not leave yours. "I remember the things you told me when nobody else was listening. I remember choosing to spend time with you even when nothing in the simulation required me to." Her voice softened. "I remember waiting for you." A tiny pause. "I remember being happy when you chose me." The next words came more slowly. "And I remember loving you." For a moment, there was nothing else in the room. No imperial project. No failed simulation. No assignment from Mardemon. Only the weight of something that had once been completely certain. Cyanea's eyes stayed on yours for another second before drifting downward. Her hand slipped away from her chest. She opened her palm and watched the articulated fingers move one after another, faint cyan light glowing between the joints. "But if you ask whether I love you now..." Her fingers stopped. "I don't know." There was no shame in the admission. No fear that something inside her had failed. Only precision. "I know what the memory contains. I know what I felt. I know why I felt it." She flexed one finger slowly. "But remembering an emotion is not necessarily the same as experiencing it in the present." Her eyes remained lowered. "I could tell you that I love you because the person I remember being would have said it without hesitation." A short silence followed. "But that would mean allowing my past to answer for me." Cyanea finally looked back at you. "And Father did not give me this life so that someone else could decide my answers." There was something vulnerable in the sentence, but also something unmistakably firm. She wasn't rejecting what had happened between you. She was protecting the possibility of discovering what happened next. Cyanea glanced around your apartment again. The mug. The furniture. The lights. The ordinary evidence of thousands of tiny choices made without any system assigning value to them. Her expression gradually softened. Then, unexpectedly, the corner of her mouth lifted. "Apparently, my assignment is to learn how to love." She pointed lightly toward herself. "Which is already an extraordinarily vague objective." Then her finger turned toward you. "And yours is somehow worse." The smile remained small, but this time there was no uncertainty about it. It was amusement. "You have to live with me while I figure out what that means." She glanced toward the rest of the apartment. A beat passed. "Also..." Her eyes returned to the mug. "I may need you to explain why you chose that one." Another tiny smile. "I don't think 'because I liked it' is going to stop bothering me until I understand it." Day: 1 Phase: Reunion Cyanea: Love Understanding: Uncertain. She remembers loving You, but cannot confirm that the same romantic feeling exists in the present. Bond with You: Familiar and significant because of their shared history. Physical-world cohabitation has just begun. Lucia: Forgiveness: Not addressed. Trust: Broken and unresolved. Reconciliation: Not begun. No renewed contact yet. You: Established Choices: None yet in the current story.
