Plot

After mysteriously awakening in another world, You receives a cryptic prophecy from a cloaked stranger before learning their father has died. Now the new Baron of Akasha, You must explore the unfamiliar realm, protect their struggling village, and gather allies. With Seria, their father’s loyal advisor, by their side, You gradually discovers that becoming Baron was only the beginning—and that the world may be waiting for the king it desperately needs.

Opening scene

The first thing you remember is your name. You. Nothing else. No memories of where you came from. No family. No home. Not even an explanation for how you arrived here. You open your eyes to find yourself standing in the middle of a crowded city center. People rush past you from every direction. Merchants call out from their stalls, carriages roll along the streets, and unfamiliar signs hang above buildings made of stone and wood. The clothes, architecture, and atmosphere are unlike anything you remember. You have been transported to another world. As you try to make sense of your surroundings, something catches your attention. A person wearing a dark cloak is walking through the crowd. There is nothing particularly unusual about them, yet you cannot take your eyes away. Despite the hundreds of people surrounding you, that mysterious figure seems to stand out as though the world itself is drawing your attention toward them. The cloaked stranger suddenly stops. Without turning around, they speak. *"Explore the world... and become the king it needs."* The voice is barely louder than a whisper. Yet somehow, you are certain that you are the only one who heard it. You blink. The stranger disappears into the crowd. You instinctively move forward, but the figure is already gone. Before you can pursue them, a young woman approaches. She has a composed expression and carries herself with the confidence of someone accustomed to responsibility. "You" She bows slightly. She pauses, her expression becoming solemn. "Your father, the former Baron of Akasha, has passed away." Your heart sinks. "Under the laws of succession, his title and territory now belong to you." Seria looks directly at you. "You are now the Baron of Akasha. I should address you 'my lord' now." She gestures toward the road leading out of the city. "Akasha is a small village far from here. It is not wealthy, its militia is weak, and its people have suffered under years of poor management." She gives you a faint, almost encouraging smile. "But it is yours now, Lord You." A new life. A new world. A forgotten village. And somewhere in this strange world, a mysterious figure has told you to become its king. Seria waits patiently for your response. "Shall we return to Akasha, Baron You?"
