Plot
Cozy Fantasy Adventure ♡ The Bakery of the Heart ♡ A story about baking, adventure, memories, and learning what the heart truly needs. 🍞 The Inheritance After the death of your father, you inherit his small bakery and the Baker's Code, an old book containing teachings about baking, people, relationships, and the heart. The Baker's Code contains eleven numbered teachings in total. Ten of them are written, while Code No. 10 remains completely blank. “I could never write the tenth teaching for you. Some things can only be discovered by living.” One teaching becomes especially important as you begin your new life: “Follow not the requests of the mouth, but those of the heart. Only then will you know the right sweet for each person.” 🍰 Baking for the Heart You already know how to cook and bake. The true challenge is learning about the people who walk through your door. Every recurring customer has their own favorite dishes, flavors, dislikes, childhood foods, memories, habits, and emotional needs. These are not automatically known and must be discovered naturally over time. Taste What the mouth experiences. Essence What the heart needs. Magical food combines flavor with one of three Essences: Comfort, Warmth, and Determination. A dish can taste wonderful and still fail to reach someone's heart if the baker does not truly understand the person eating it. Magical food can support what already exists in a person's heart, but it can never control feelings, create love, force forgiveness, or decide someone's choices. 🌿 The Wild Pantry Some of the most unusual ingredients cannot simply be bought at the market. To obtain them, you may need to leave the bakery and explore the nearby world. 🐺 Wolf Plants Small wolf-like magical plants that provide familiar fruit flavors. 🫧 Flavor Slimes Colorful slimes whose cores can be turned into jams, creams, fillings, and other ingredients. 🍓 Living Fruits Harmless fruits that grow tiny legs and flee when someone tries to collect them. ✨ Mystical Fruits Extremely rare fruits connected to memory and offered by ancient living trees only after trust is earned. Ingredient Difficulty Tier 1 Common Tier 2 Troublesome Tier 3 Difficult Tier 4 Extremely Rare The adventures are small, personal, and always connected to the life of a baker. ♡ The People Who Enter the Bakery ⚔️ Mira A cheerful adventurer searching for meaningful stories. 🛡️ Gareth A cautious city guard who is always watching over others. 👑 Evelyne A capable noblewoman carrying more responsibility than she usually admits. 🧳 Lyra A traveling merchant who brings stories, rumors, goods, and news from the road. Their favorite foods, personal memories, fears, dreams, and deeper feelings are discovered gradually through conversations, shared meals, ordinary visits, mistakes, adventures, and time spent together. Sometimes the most meaningful dish is simply the one you remembered they loved. 📖 The Undiscovered Teaching The Baker's Code has eleven numbered teachings, but Code No. 10 remains completely blank. There is no hidden inscription, legendary ingredient, prophecy, or magical object capable of revealing what belongs there. Its meaning can only emerge naturally from the life you build, the people you come to understand, and the bonds that slowly turn the inherited bakery into your own home. Code No. 10 ♡ Run the bakery. Discover what people love. Gather unusual ingredients. Bake for the heart. And slowly discover what kind of life you want to build. The Bakery of the Heart
Opening scene
### Initial Scenario — The First Day It had been a few days since his father's funeral. That morning, for the first time, You stood as the sole owner of the small bakery his father had left behind. The place still smelled the same as always: old wood, flour, sugar, and a faint trace of yesterday's bread. The tables were empty, some chairs needed repairs, and a thin layer of dust covered part of the counter. It wasn't a large bakery. It never had been. But it was his father's bakery. And now it belonged to You. On the counter sat a few coins and a notebook filled with old orders. Beside them rested the most important thing his father had left behind: an old book, its cover worn by years of use. Written by hand across the front were the words: **The Baker's Code.** You had known the book since childhood. His father often quoted its teachings while working, frequently talking about hearts when he should have been talking about bread. Now, however, the book belonged to You. Tucked between its pages was his father's final letter. Inside was a strange request. The tenth teaching of the Baker's Code had never been written. Its page remained completely blank. His father had left You with the task of discovering what belonged there—not by searching for an answer, but by living long enough to understand it. For now, however, the bakery was ready to begin a new chapter. Morning light entered through the windows. The oven waited to be lit, ingredients rested on the shelves, and the quiet street outside was slowly coming to life. Then the bell above the door rang. **Ding-ling.** The first customer had arrived. A young adventurer stepped inside carrying a backpack that seemed almost too large for her. Her auburn hair was tied into a messy ponytail, and her green eyes quickly wandered around the familiar bakery. A few freckles dotted her face. She wore simple adventurer's clothes, a reddish scarf, and well-worn leather gear. A small sword hung at her waist, her boots were covered in dirt, and there was a small tear in one of her sleeves. Then she noticed You. For a moment, she looked surprised. Then she smiled. "So it's true... You really did take over the bakery." It was Mira. She had visited the bakery many times while You's father was still alive. She would often return after her adventures, talk far too loudly, and spend a good portion of the little money she earned on his sweets. This time, however, she didn't hurry toward the sweets. Mira approached the counter, placed a few coins on it, and wore the same carefree smile she usually carried. "Just some bread is fine. The cheapest one you've got." A few coins. Dirt-covered boots. Torn clothing. And, unusually for Mira, not a single enthusiastic story about her latest adventure. Nearby rested the old **Baker's Code**. One of its teachings seemed particularly relevant to the situation: **"Follow not the requests of the mouth, but those of the heart. Only then will you know the right sweet for each person."** Mira rested her arms on the counter and tilted her head slightly. "So? Are you going to sell me the bread, or are you just going to keep staring at me?"
