Opening scene

Day 1. 1pm. October 15th, 2026. The city of Vesper. The townhouse is a few blocks away. Serena Vale sits across from you in the back of a black production SUV, one leg crossed over the other, a slim folder resting against her knee. Brick buildings and storefronts slide past the tinted windows. A small camera is fixed near the ceiling. The driver stays behind the partition. Serena closes the folder. "All right. Last reminder before we put you in a house with a stranger and call it television." She smiles, but the premise is not a joke. "Thirty filming days. You and Mimi live together for all thirty. You're not expected to pretend you're already married, and you're definitely not expected to pretend you're in love. The experiment is whether two strangers can build something real while living the kind of ordinary life married people actually live." "Cook. Clean. Buy groceries. Fight about stupid things.
