Unwritten Number 1 Guildmaster
You squandered loyalty and suffered betrayal. Reborn six years earlier, what kind of guildmaster will you become this time?
Plot
Your browser cannot play this trailer. A SECOND LIFE. A DIFFERENT GUILD. You remember the guild that fell—and the people who tried to save it. This time, their warnings can change what happens next. Eira and Dain tried to stop the damage. They stayed when they had little reason to. You did not listen in time. SIX YEARS EARLIER You wake on wet gravel beside Thornspan Bridge. The bridge is whole. In the life you remember, the guild hall fell six years after this day. That future can change. Eira stands by the waiting wagons, alive. Her silver braid hangs over her shoulder; she carries the same brass lantern you last saw in the wreckage. She glances at you without recognition. She remembers none of the years you shared. You remember all of them. Then you notice a young apprentice securing a loose crate. As you watch her work, Founder Insight awakens: a private view of what she could learn and a practical first step. You can offer help. What she chooses to do with it is hers. Veya can try the first step now if she wants your guidance. Insight itself grants no power. She can develop that colossal protection through real practice or a costly, compatible Store upgrade she chooses to receive. THE PEOPLE OTHERS MISREAD Insight points to what someone can become. You can offer help, materials or a chance to prove it. You cannot make them join you. Corin needs a workshop, materials and proof that his design works. His own hands can turn a dismissed idea into armor worth trusting. Talia's arena result measures the wrong thing. A safe first test can reveal what her blade can receive; her practiced or explicitly purchased stage determines what she can return. Siv reads a route the official map missed. Her judgment can save a convoy, but her suspended license and unfinished business are still hers to face. Kethra can make people, contracts and supplies work together. Give her real authority and resources, and the guild can reach far beyond one hall. LET THEIR WORK SPEAK Choose a contract, pursue another lead or refuse the obvious path. Arena trials, escorts and ruins are opportunities, not a fixed checklist. People notice what the guild actually does. The private System Store is your strongest shortcut: request a safe item, service or compatible awakening—even a direct talent upgrade for a willing companion. Save Credits for a powerful tier or skip the quoted training grind. You see the exact benefit, limits and scaled price before choosing. It cannot buy loyalty, manipulate a person, grant an official badge or guarantee victory. The wagon is still waiting at Thornspan. Veya has not chosen for you. Who will you notice first?
Opening scene
**THE LIFE YOU LOST** Your guild was failing. You spent money on impressive names while Eira and Dain kept the hall working. Eira warned you that its protective magic had changed. Dain found cut fittings above the main room. Hadrik said the repairs were handled, and you left him in charge. Now a Caldrith Guild officer stands at the entrance with the stolen Heartstone case. He hands Hadrik a heavy purse. Hadrik: “Caldrith paid for the stone. Your people were never part of the bargain.” A roof beam breaks loose. Eira: “West passage! Keep moving!” Dain braces the beam while workers escape. Eira raises her brass lantern to show them the way. Neither leaves while people are still inside. The fitting tears apart. Eira turns toward Dain as the roof falls between you. They are buried together. Then the rest of the hall comes down. **SIX YEARS EARLIER** Wet gravel presses against your palm. You are beside a stopped wagon near Thornspan Bridge. There is no fallen roof. Eira crouches beside you, silver braid over her blue cloak, brass lantern in hand. Alive. Six years younger. Eira: “Are you hurt? Take a moment. We’re stopped here.” She does not recognize you. The years you shared have not happened. Dain is alive in Durnell, too. You remember this journey: Captain Nessa’s caravan is taking you to Durnell, where you hoped to find work and start a guild. You have no members, hall, or charter. Two wagons and six travelers wait before the bridge while Eira checks its blue stone markings. Nessa: “Durnell is half a day ahead. Nobody moves the wagons until Eira says it’s safe.” You also remember a shortcut. Rook Hall became your guild’s home only after months of costly work. The town property office can grant its deed to the first claimant for eight silver—if you reach it before closing on Day 3. Repairs and a charter would still be separate. You have twenty silver and can choose whether to pursue it. **SOMEONE THEY DISMISSED** Beside the first wagon, Veya tightens the rope around a loose crate. Her apprenticeship badge has been cut across its face. Driver: “Leave it, Veya. You couldn’t manage the simplest attack spell. Don’t break something else.” Veya: “This crate could fall on someone. You can help me tie it or move aside.” She tests the knot. As you look at her, a blue-and-gold panel appears between you and Veya. Nobody else reacts. **Founder Insight** is private to you. Veya has basic mana control but cannot yet form a reliable barrier. Her true gift is shaping moving mana barriers that could someday stop enormous blows and divide sweeping magic. She was trained to launch attacks instead. The practical first step is to push mana outward into a protective surface; her first proof would be deliberately stopping or turning one manageable impact. The potential is real. Learning it remains Veya’s choice. Eira: “These markings should keep creatures away. Someone changed them. They’re drawing creatures here.” Two lean scavengers emerge from the far-bank trees. One steps onto the far end of the bridge, watching the horse. Nessa: “Hold the wagons. Everyone stay together.” Veya turns toward the bridge, the secured crate behind her. The creatures are still across the span. There is time to speak or act. You could tell Veya what Insight revealed, help Eira or Nessa, investigate, or take another approach.
