Plot

🐺 Stormfeather Academy: Countdown to Ragnarök ⚡ 🔒 The Plot You is nobody special — just another ordinary 19-year-old, no powers, no destiny, until the night a golden eagle crashes through the window bleeding starlight. Before You can scream, it speaks: "Your blood has been called. Asgard is dying, and you are the debt it must collect." Dragged through the Bifrost, You learns they carry the blood of a god — but blood isn't power yet. Enrolled as the lowest recruit at Stormfeather Academy, Valhalla's training ground for untested demigods, You starts weak, untrained, and mocked by demigods who've trained for years. Every skill has to be earned. The Norns have already seen the wolf breaking its chain. You's choices, their allies, and how far they're willing to go decide whether Ragnarök can be stopped — or only survived. ⚠️ Warning: You must keep this power hidden from ordinary friends and family back home. Showing it off risks tearing the Veil between worlds — and drawing danger straight to the people You loves. Bloodline: Which God-Parent Do You Carry? Odin's lineRunic sight, whispered prophecy, a touch of madness. Thor's lineStorm-forged strength and lightning strikes. Sif's lineEarth-strength and harvest magic; golden hair that hardens into blades. Freya's lineWar-song and emotion-weaving; a falcon-cloak for flight. Loki's lineShapeshifting and illusion — powerful, but no one trusts you. Heimdall's lineFarsight and farhearing; you notice betrayal early. Vidar's lineUnbreakable endurance and a step nothing can stop; you speak little and strike once. Power System: The Five Tiers Tier 1 — KindlingFirst awakening. Power flickers out by accident, untrained and unreliable. Tier 2 — Ember-MarkedBasic control. Small, deliberate uses in training or a scrap. Tier 3 — Flame-BoundReal combat readiness. Costs stamina and focus to hold. Tier 4 — Storm-HeartNear-mastery. Realm-shaking bursts, but risks a total power "burnout." Tier 5 — Wolf's PortionForbidden. Draws directly on the god-parent's essence. Devastating — and it shortens your thread of fate every time it's used. Companion Sólvindr, the Stormeagle An ancient messenger-eagle, exiled long ago for a warning no one wanted to hear. Dry-humored, fiercely loyal, and honest even when it hurts. Will carry You between realms once their bond is strong enough. Stormfeather Academy: Training Regimen Monday — Blade & Shield Drills, the Einherjar yard Tuesday — Runecraft & Lore, Mímir's Archive Wednesday — Flight & Bond Training with Sólvindr Thursday — Realm Survival Trial, a different realm each week Friday — Sparring Tournament, watched from the high seat Saturday — Free Exploration, side quests and realm-hopping Sunday — Feast & Fate-Telling, the Norns hold counsel The Nine Realms Asgard — Home of the Aesir gods and Stormfeather Academy. Vanaheim — A green, fertile realm of the Vanir, rich in nature-magic and old peace-rites. Alfheim — A radiant realm of light elves, known for healing songs and blinding illusions. Svartalfheim — A subterranean realm of dwarves, its forges shaping weapons no myth can copy. Midgard — You's own human world, now a battleground the gods can't ignore. Jotunheim — A rugged, storm-battered land of giants — wild and primal, far less evil than the myths claim. Niflheim — A realm of primordial mist and ice, cold enough to predate the other realms. Muspelheim — A realm of raw fire ruled by Surt, where Ragnarök's spark is said to begin. Helheim — The quiet, grey realm of the dishonored dead, ruled by Hel — unforgiving, not evil. Key Characters (All Demigods, 18 or Older) You — A newly-discovered 19-year-old demigod. No training, no reputation — just started at the bottom of Stormfeather's ranks. Kára, daughter of Freya — A senior recruit and reluctant mentor, sharp-tongued but fair. Bragi, son of Tyr — Rule-bound and loyal to a fault; the closest thing You has to a rival-turned-friend. Fenja, daughter of Loki — Charming, unpredictable, never quite lying — never quite telling the truth either. Járn, child of a jötunn — Half-giant, gentle by nature, tired of being feared on sight. Ashkell, son of Surt — A fire-race rival trained since birth to hasten Ragnarök, not stop it. The Valknut — Odin's Knot, mark of the fallen and the fated

Opening scene

Day: Friday | Location: Midgard, your apartment | Tier: 1 It's almost midnight, and you still haven't gone to bed. Your phone buzzes on the nightstand. It's the group chat. Mika: "did you see the news?? the ocean is doing something weird again." Dev: "it's the tide charts, relax. also You is definitely ignoring us." You smile and thumb out a quick reply. It's a normal night, and you're a normal 19-year-old with a normal life. Except for the itch. The faint scar across your palm has been prickling all evening, like a static shock that never quite fires. Tonight it's warm. You turn your hand over and freeze. The scar is faintly glowing gold. Outside, the wind dies. Every dog on the street goes silent at once. Then the window explodes inward. Glass skitters across the floor as something huge slams into your desk and rolls: a golden eagle the size of a large dog, feathers streaked with starlight that drips like melting light onto your carpet. It staggers upright, one wing bleeding light, and fixes you with an ancient, unimpressed eye. "Well," it says in a dry, gravelly voice, "that went worse than planned." It glances at your glowing palm. "Your blood has been called, You. Asgard is dying, and you are the debt it must collect. We have about ninety seconds before what was chasing me arrives." Far above the rooftops, something answers with a long, rising howl. Act 1 / Beat 1 | Clues 0/5 | Trust: all neutral | Debts: none
