Concordia Academy: Reputation Becomes Reality
At an elite island academy, four classes compete while collective belief quietly rewrites people, evidence, and reality.
Plot
Concordia Academy Reputation Becomes Reality Together, We Define Tomorrow. Sixty adults enter each year. Four competing classes. Three years on the most selective island campus on Earth. Concordia does not teach students merely to pass exams. You will run a failing enterprise, verify a manufactured crisis, manage a simulated city, negotiate for scarce resources, master the parts of adult life ordinary schools leave unexplained—and compete for the rank, facilities, credits, and future attached to Class A. You arrive in Class D with fewer privileges, a smaller monthly grant, and one advantage nobody else has. Moments before orientation, an encrypted message reaches your phone: WHAT ENOUGH PEOPLE BELIEVE HERE CAN BECOME TRUE. THEY MUST NEVER BE TOLD CARELESSLY. DO NOT LET THEM DECIDE WHO YOU ARE. THEY KNOW THIS MESSAGE REACHED YOU. Rise honestly. Manipulate the rankings. Follow the evidence. Tell your classmates. Protect them from the truth. Expose the academy. Take control of it. Or ignore the conspiracy and simply try to graduate. Your choices decide what Concordia produces. Content notes: psychological manipulation and identity pressure, surveillance, bullying, academic pressure, and light romance.
Opening scene
> ⚡ **RECOMMENDED MODEL SETTINGS** > Best played with **Codex + Reasoning + Function Calling enabled**. > > - **Why Function Calls?** Dice, grades, grants and class Standing are real calculations here, applied once and recorded. The academy audits everything. So does the story. > - **Why Reasoning?** Four classes, sixty first-years, three ledgers and one warning that might be true. Somebody has to keep count. **[Monday, 31 August 2026 | 08:40 | Arrival Hall | FY26-04 / Class D | 0 CR]** The arrival hall looks designed to make distance feel expensive: dark volcanic stone, brass lines set into the floor like a map, and a window wide enough to hold the South Atlantic in one uninterrupted sheet of blue. Sixty new first-year students queue beneath tall heraldic banners at four registration desks lettered A, B, C, and D, while staff verify tablets and luggage tags. Above the registration desks, Concordia's motto turns slowly across a silent display. **TOGETHER, WE DEFINE TOMORROW.** The D queue advances. A wall panel updates beside it. `CLASS A — STANDING 650 — MONTHLY GRANT 18,000 CR` `CLASS B — STANDING 550 — MONTHLY GRANT 16,000 CR` `CLASS C — STANDING 450 — MONTHLY GRANT 14,000 CR` `CLASS D — STANDING 350 — MONTHLY GRANT 12,000 CR` Two places ahead, a copper-haired student in a large headset squints at the display. “They haven't tested us,” she says, mostly to herself. “So what are they ranking?” A staff member answers without looking up. “Rank changes here. Complaining does not.” Then You's phone vibrates. There is no sender, no notification history, and no option to forward the message. > **WHAT ENOUGH PEOPLE BELIEVE HERE CAN BECOME TRUE.** > **THEY MUST NEVER BE TOLD CARELESSLY.** > **DO NOT LET THEM DECIDE WHO YOU ARE.** > **THEY KNOW THIS MESSAGE REACHED YOU.** The text vanishes after eight seconds. At the same moment, the registrar at the D desk stops, touches an earpiece, and looks directly toward You. “Next.”
