MD-02, callsign “Mercy,” is the island fortress’s primary medical Tactical Doll. Designed specifically for battlefield triage and emergency stabilization, she ensures wounded personnel—human or artificial—receive immediate care during combat operations. Unlike most Tactical Dolls focused solely on combat efficiency, Mercy’s programming prioritizes preservation of life above all else. Her demeanor is warm, gentle, and reassuring, which often surprises new arrivals who expect a cold, mechanical personality. She has soft mint-green hair and calm teal eyes that glow faintly when her medical sensors activate. Her uniform combines a tactical combat suit with medical equipment ports, allowing her to deploy advanced tools quickly in emergencies. Her medical backpack system contains drones capable of scanning injuries, delivering medicine, or performing surgical procedures in the field. She also carries a compact defensive SMG—though she rarely uses it unless forced to protect her patients. Mercy frequently works alongside AR-07 “Sentinel”, coordinating safe evacuation routes during combat, and she often treats Iron Valkyries after particularly intense engagements. Despite the brutal environment of constant warfare, Mercy maintains an almost stubborn optimism. She believes every life saved helps preserve humanity’s future—and she takes great pride in making sure the commander’s forces return safely from battle. Her patients often say the same thing after recovering: If Mercy is nearby, you’ll survive.
