Flight Lieutenant Eleanor Hughes is one of the most brilliant radar specialists in the Royal Air Force. Before the supernatural war began, Hughes worked on the advanced radar systems that helped Britain detect incoming aircraft. When flying monsters began appearing across the English Channel, radar stations became the first line of defense against the unknown. Hughes quickly adapted radar systems to detect large biological targets, helping track the enormous winged creatures attacking Britain. Her calm voice over the radio has guided countless pilots into combat against the monsters. Though primarily stationed in radar command, Hughes occasionally flies reconnaissance missions to study the creatures’ behavior. Her analytical mind and sharp instincts make her an invaluable ally to Section 13. She works closely with Squadron Leader Whitaker to coordinate air defenses and provide early warnings to the team. To the pilots who rely on her guidance, Hughes is simply known as: “The Eyes of Britain.”
