Viktor Rasputin was once a wandering mystic traveling through remote villages of Russia studying forbidden religious texts and ancient folklore. When the war came, Rasputin disappeared into the wilderness. Months later he resurfaced as one of the Black Covenant’s most devoted servants. Obsessed with apocalyptic prophecy, Rasputin believes Pandora’s Box is the key to awakening ancient powers buried beneath the world. In the frozen forests of Russia he commands packs of Frostmaw Demons and Blood Wolves, directing them to attack soldiers and villages alike. Rasputin conducts brutal blood rituals that strengthen the monsters under his command. To him the suffering caused by the creatures is not tragedy. It is proof that the world is finally being remade.
