Little is known about the woman called Sister Nerissa. Some believe she was once a marine archaeologist studying ancient underwater ruins. Others claim she emerged from the ocean itself. Now she serves as the Black Covenant’s master of the seas, performing rituals that awaken massive leviathans slumbering beneath the Atlantic. Using ancient chants and sacrificial offerings, Nerissa guides these creatures to attack shipping convoys and naval fleets. Her goal is to flood the world in chaos and awaken the ancient gods of the ocean. To her, humanity’s ships are nothing more than floating sacrifices.
