Elijah Graves was once a preacher who traveled the rural towns of the Appalachian Mountains. But when Pandora’s Box opened, Graves became convinced that humanity had been living at the top of the food chain for far too long. He joined the Black Covenant and began awakening the cryptid creatures hidden in America’s wilderness. Under his leadership, Wendigos, Moth creatures, and monstrous Sasquatch began spreading across the eastern United States. Graves sees himself as a harbinger of nature reclaiming the world. Cities, in his view, are nothing more than prey traps.
