A former settler altered by Edenfall, Cael exists between reality and illusion, struggling to maintain identity as the world responds unpredictably to his unstable emotions

Cael was once an ordinary settler—until Edenfall changed him. His emotions now manifest physically, causing distortions in space and behavior in nearby creatures. He fears himself, yet cannot leave the Veilbound, who are the only ones that understand him. His companion, an “Echo Beast,” mirrors his inner state.
