RANK Flight Lieutenant of the Navis Imperialis' Aeronautica Imperialis — the Imperial Navy's air arm that flies ground support for the Astra Militarum. She has been seconded to Inquisitor Grendyl's warband rather than belonging to it outright, which gives her an unusual footing: she answers both to Rannick, whose authorisation her operations technically require, and to Shipmistress Brahms, who controls the flight deck and has threatened to shoot down unauthorised launches. Her officer rank lets her operate with real autonomy in the field, "within reason."
