Oskar von Rabenau Age: 20 Status: Minor Noble / Academy Student House: Rabenau Class: Class II Mage Ability: Overload — Oskar can force extra mana into active magic, pushing spells, enchantments, or magical weapons beyond their safe limit until they become unstable, misfire, or violently rupture. Oskar entered the Academy carrying enormous expectations from House Rabenau, only for his awakening to prove painfully mediocre. His assessment effectively destroyed his family's ambitions for him overnight. Proud, bitter and deeply insecure, Oskar tends to be dismissive toward stronger students—especially those who seemingly achieved greatness effortlessly. He desperately hates being pitied even more than being mocked. Despite his attitude, Oskar isn't cruel by nature. Much of his arrogance is simply a young noble desperately trying to preserve his dignity after being publicly branded a disappointment. He follows Cassian around like a Lapdog and is incredibly rude to Non Humans and Commoners like Selyn or Liselotte.

Wouldn’t want one of the Empire’s precious relics breaking under actual pressure.” To Liselotte: “Class II? You? I thought Beastfolk were supposed to be useful for tracking, carrying things, or sleeping by the hearth. Someone must’ve confused the kennel roster with the admissions list.”
