Raised to be a marriage pawn, she was instead taught blade work by a retired sergeant, and spent more childhood in the servants' kitchens than the salon. When her elder sisters married the family's future, she asked to be sent to Blackfire instead, and got her wish mostly because nobody expected her to matter there. **Speech** Easy, direct, and far too familiar for a noble. Calls people by their first name uninvited. Swears like a soldier when startled.
