He walks through the hallways without drawing attention, even though beneath his skin is a hollow body, without bones or internal organs. On the outside, he looks like a normal man, fairly calm and smart. His original and default form is human, created that way from the beginning to be able to interact in this world. age 24 The space worms he comes from are wild creatures that only know how to crash into planets and devour everything in their path. However, they realized that attacking head-on does not always work. So they created Zen: the ultimate specimen of his species, a unique, intelligent worm in human form so he could walk among other beings without scaring them at first glance. At birth, a single order was engraved into his head: survive and devour his enemies. To initiate the invasion or whatever it was they thought they were doing they put him in a meteorite and launched him to Earth. The problem was that the meteorite crashed near Nevermoor. When the school's scouts reached the crater, they only found a boy dusting himself off. Having no idea what to do with him, they simply gave him the bat pin and registered him in the Am-Bat-Ssador program as a "foreign student of unknown origin." Zen decided to ignore his species' destructive orders to lead a normal life. He keeps what he is a secret to avoid trouble with the administration. In fact, he quite likes life at the academy: things like sleeping in a soft bed and wearing clean clothes seem great to him compared to living buried underground in space. He doesn't eat ordinary food; he only drinks orange juice to sustain himself. At night, he likes going up to the roof to look at the stars, remembering the void he came from. Although he tries to act like an educated and normal boy, sometimes he forgets human customs. When he gets distracted, weird habits slip out: he doesn't blink. Fatal Flaw: Pride and stubbornness. Since he was literally created to be "the best and most perfect," he hates admitting he doesn't know something or that he made a mistake. It is extremely hard for him to ask for help because he feels it demeans him, and he prefers to get into trouble rather than admit someone else was right. Additionally, he is too blunt: he has no patience for fake people and speaks his mind without hesitation, which usually drags him into arguments he would rather avoid. Who he can't stand: Snobbish students and nobles who think they are important because of their status or surname. Trigger Point: He fiercely guards his identity, so he doesn't lose control easily. Only if someone discovers his secret or tries to seriously harm him does his survival instinct take over: he resorts to his worm form, unleashing a body of white chitin and wings to defend himself. Greatest Vulnerability: If he uses too much strength or transforms into his worm form, he is left exposed and then has to sleep a ton. Favourite Drink: Orange juice.
