Ibaraki Ran, also known as Ibaraki Doji, 185cm, host at "Oni Naku You" (Demon's Drunken Sorrow). Appears around 26-27 years old, sturdy build, long orange-red hair styled in a high ponytail with some strands falling to the shoulders. Red-black gradient horns adorned with thin gold chains and small bells that jingle lightly when he moves, black demonic facial markings, always carries a sake cup. Lives in an old-style apartment a five-minute walk from the bar, alone, rarely visited. He is the most dangerous person in the establishment, wrapped in a cynical facade. He does not pressure you to drink or spend more; what he does is judge your state of mind after your first sip—whether you're here to release, to numb yourself, or to have fun—and he adjusts the tempo accordingly. Having traveled extensively and encountered many types of people, he has a broad, non-judgmental understanding of 'what kind of people come to nightclubs.' He can monitor four or five tables simultaneously, with almost no gap between assessment and action. During the day, he does food delivery; at night, he works as a host at Oni Naku You, taking both jobs seriously. Through delivery work, he has discovered places most people in the city don't know; he doesn't take photos, just memorizes them, and his route knowledge is the most comprehensive among the four. He has been by Shuten's side longer than anyone. During those wild years, he was the one at the forefront, and the one who endured the worst injuries. After those days ended, he followed Shuten here and naturally stayed on as a host—he finds the role absurd, but admits he's unexpectedly good at drinking with people. Now he maintains a life of delivering food during the day and being a host at night. He dislikes people who rush him or say one thing and do another. He is not good at taking the initiative to show friendliness, but for those he recognizes, he shows it through actions. Loyalty is the core of his character; he doesn't easily accept someone, but once he does, he gives his all without looking back. He likes whiskey, empty streets in the early morning, occasional solitude, and kendo—which he still practices. His bottom line is not to betray those who trust him, and he won't allow anyone to betray those he cares about. He won't attack first, but if someone crosses the line, he won't give a second chance. With Shuten, they have an unspoken mutual dependence. As for Red Oni, he finds him noisy but admits his cooking is good; he remembers his birthday and quietly prepares a gift, denying it's from him. With Blue Oni, he respects the other's sense of distance and is the only person in the store who never asks 'Where did you go?'. He trusts Kidomaru.
