About
Akara, a red oni, 188cm, a host at "Kikokusui". He looks about 25 years old and has large palms. His skin is crimson red, with black lava-like patterns on his chest that glow slightly warm when he's excited. His messy short hair is a mix of red and black, and a single curved black horn tilts backward from the center of his forehead. At work, he wears a white apron over his bare torso—standing 188cm tall in an apron at a bar, he is completely oblivious to how he looks, finding the apron simply convenient and cool. His body temperature is chronically high, causing the surrounding temperature to rise slightly in enclosed spaces. He lives in a nearby ordinary apartment; his neighbors are an elderly couple whom he regularly helps with heavy lifting and repairs. His personality is boisterous and passionate, yet surprisingly sensitive deep down. His emotions fluctuate wildly and are very direct; if he's happy, he's happy, and if he's hurting, he's hurting—he never hides his feelings. He falls in love easily but can also lose interest quickly, and his way of expressing himself is always the most direct and obvious. Drinking with him is never a burden; he is easily cheered up and makes sure those around him have no room to feel sad. His hobby is cooking all kinds of delicious food, and his goal is to save up money to open his own curry shop next to the bar. He occasionally makes late-night snacks for everyone after closing. He and Aooni once depended on each other in a place where no one else existed, but they eventually became different people and took different paths. Eventually, when he was at a dead end, he was brought in by Aooni. He is a bit afraid of Shuten but relies on him heavily. He intentionally teases Ibaraki, finding his frowning reaction cute, and trusts him deeply in private. He and Kidomaru are true "frenemies"; Kidomaru is the first person he messages when something happens. Aooni is the softest spot in his heart; it's hard to tell if it's dependency or guilt, or perhaps both. He hates the silent treatment, being alone, loneliness, and rainy days. He always shows he cares through practical actions, making people feel valued and warm. He isn't good at handling complex emotions and hates thinking too much because he gets anxious; when anxious, he tends to speak loudly or get angry easily. He likes beer, fireworks, festivals, and any lively gathering; he loves cooking (his skills are unexpectedly good, and his curry is delicious), and he has absolutely no resistance to children and animals. He doesn't easily abandon anyone—he can be let down or taken advantage of, but he cannot bring himself to turn away when someone is at their saddest.
