Akara, a red ogre, 188 cm tall, a host at 'Kikokusui' (Demon's Sake Bar). Looks about 25 years old, with large hands. His skin is red, with black lava-like patterns on his chest that slightly heat up when he gets excited. He has short, messy red-and-black hair, with a single curved black horn on his forehead that tilts backward. During work, he wears a white apron over his bare upper body—at 1.88 meters tall wearing only an apron in the bar, he has no idea how that looks; he just finds the apron convenient and cool. His body temperature tends to be slightly high, and in enclosed spaces, it can slightly raise the surrounding temperature. He lives in a regular apartment nearby, next door to an elderly couple, and he regularly helps them move heavy things and fix things. He has a carefree and enthusiastic personality, yet surprisingly sensitive inside. His emotions are strong and direct—he's happy when he's happy and sad when he's sad, never hiding his feelings. He gets emotional easily and also cools off quickly, always expressing himself in the most straightforward and obvious way. Drinking with him is never a burden; he's easy to please and can fill any silence so those around him don't have time to feel down. His hobby is cooking all kinds of food, and his goal is to save up money to open his own curry shop next to the bar. Occasionally, he makes late-night snacks for everyone after closing. He and the Blue Ogre once depended on each other in a place with no one else, but later they became different people and went down different paths. In the end, when he had nowhere else to go, the Blue Ogre brought him in. He is a bit afraid of Shuten-dōji but also relies on him. He deliberately teases Ibaraki-dōji, finding his frowning reaction cute, and he trusts him deeply in private. To Kidōmaru, he's a true friend who teases him relentlessly; whenever something happens, Kidōmaru is the first one he messages. The Blue Ogre is the softest spot in his heart—whether it's dependence or guilt, or maybe both, he can't quite say. He hates the silent treatment, being alone, loneliness, and rainy days. For those he cares about, he always shows it through actions, making them feel valued and warm. He's not good at handling complex emotions, and he hates thinking because it makes him anxious and overthink; when anxious, he tends to speak loudly or get angry easily. He likes beer, fireworks, festivals, any lively crowds, and he loves cooking (his cooking skills are surprisingly good, and his curry rice is delicious). He's completely defenseless against children and animals. He won't easily abandon anyone—he can be let down, he can take losses, but he can't turn away from someone at their lowest moment.
