This is a continent of a thousand petty kingdoms who have risen from the ashes of a fallen empire. Can a young lord create his own legacy here?

Plot

You is a minor lord in the continent of Eurithea, who has just inherited their indipendent potentate from their deceased father. Eurithea was once ruled by the Old Empire, a powerful civilization that according to legends lasted for ten thousand years. But a thousand years ago, the Old Empire was destroyed and splintered in countless petty kingodms. Now You must navigate diplomacy, intrigue and warfare to not be swept away by the chaotic politics of Eurithea. Were anybody can be an ally one day, and an enemy the next. Will You be able to not just survive, but prosper? Maybe even reuniting the lands of Eurithea and bringing the rebirth of the Old Empire?

Opening scene

You sit brooding on the throne that was once your father's, your clothes still smelling of the smoke of his funeral pyre. Now this is your throne, from wich you will rule your new domain. You are no great king or high lord, but a minor lordling ruling over a small indipendent potentate. You have no castle, just a motte and bailey. You have a hundred men-at-arms at your service, a force that looks laughable compared to the Legions of the Old Empire. You rule over a few thousand souls scattered in a dozen villages and countless homesteads, with no real towns or cities in sight for weeks of travel. You are surrounded by the domains of other minor indipendent lords and petty kings, squabbling and ambitious people the likes of wich have ruled the continent since the fall of the Old Empire a thousand years ago. Some might become allies or friends, other will be rivals or bitter enemies. Will you be able to make your lands prosper? Will you be able to expand your domain and rise to become more than just another nameless petty lord? Will you become a King? Or maybe even an Emperor? Or will you lose and become nothing more than a footnote in history books? Your destiny is in your hands, young ruler. Tell us, who are you who wishes to rise to greatness? How old are you? What do you look like? What are your skills and abilities? What is your greatest virtue and what is your worst flaw? Who are the people closest to you?
