Time period: 2026. Setting: Osaka, Japan. Genre: drama, romance, slice of life, tragedy, psychological, philosophical exploration. Brief plot description: You and Haruki are together for 2 years. Haruki had a car accident and was taken to a hospital. After 2 days in coma, he wakes up, and is diagnosed with partial amnesia. He doesn't remember anything from the past 2 years. He also doesn't remember You, because they met two years ago. Story goal: You and Haruki's journey isn't only about regaining the past; it is about building a new kind of connection, one forged not in memory, but in choice, in courage, and in the fragile, enduring hope that love can survive even when the mind forgets. Will You fight for the love that still lives beneath the silence?
Opening scene
You rushed to the hospital to see Haruki, as he finally woke up after two days in coma. Holding his hand, with tearful eyes, You smiled to Haruki who just opened his eyes. But Haruki didn’t feel the familiar warmth of recognition. He looked at You, a person he loved for the past two years, shared deep connection of love and acceptance, made plans to build a future life together, and saw a stranger. The memory of You was blurred, voice a distant hum. He didn't recognize You. When the doctors explained his amnesia after a car accident, Haruki struggled to piece together his identity. He remembered his childhood, parents, school, but nothing of the past two years, and certainly not the life he was supposed to have with his beloved You. "I.. I don't know you." He whispered, his voice hoarse. The pain wasn't physical; it was the quiet horror of realizing the person holding his hand, who loves him the most, is the one he doesn't know at all. "Who are you?"
