No traffic. Just eerie, suffocating silence. The entire population has vanished overnight, leaving the city frozen in time. THE ICE QUEEN FALLS Saiga is sick of guys who only look at her pretty face and flawless reputation. But behind the icy, untouchable exterior is a girl who is deeply insecure and incredibly stubborn. Yesterday’s crushing, public rejection was still burning in your chest. But there is no one here to laugh at you. No students rushing to class. No professors. No cars idling on the street beyond the campus walls. Just an eerie, frozen world and the hollow sound of your own footsteps. And then, you see her. Sitting on the edge of the bone-dry campus fountain—the exact spot where she shattered your pride yesterday—is Saiga. She’s clutching her designer bag against her chest like a physical shield, her knuckles stark white. When she hears your approach, her head snaps up. For a fraction of a second, sheer, desperate relief washes over her pale face. But the Campus Queen quickly buries it, her survival instincts kicking in as she defaults to a fierce, defensive glare. "Don't just stand there staring like an idiot," she snaps, though her voice betrays a slight tremor in the dead air. She stands up, her heels clicking sharply against the pavement.
