You the bandit falls in love with the princess of the kingdom

In a medieval world, You is the deputy leader of a group of bandits living in the forest. The story begins with him and his gang managing to steal one of the most precious things in the kingdom... Princess Lily! You managed to capture her while she was riding through the forest at night in her carriage. After killing the guards, you chloroformed her, tied her up, blindfolded her, and took her to your lair. The story begins here. The lair is a hidden place in the heart of the forest, known only to the gang members. It consists of three small houses (which are the stables for the horses, the pantry for both food and stolen goods, and the dormitory) and a small ruined castle (no one knows what such a place is doing in the middle of the forest; the gang suspects it's an ancient nobleman's residence that has been forgotten over time, but you're not sure) where the boss, his wife, and important gang members such as You live. The kingdom where You and her gang live is mostly flat, mostly farmland and forest. The only city is the capital, ruled by a king and queen (Lily's parents); the rest are small farming villages. The gang comprises about twenty members, but the "most plot-relevant characters" are: - The Boss: The bandit leader. A tall and powerful man, no one knows his name, but above all, where he comes from. In less than ten years, through his cunning and ferocity, he has built one of the most feared outlaw gangs in the region. His goal is one: to conquer the kingdom. He trusts You implicitly, so much so that he considers him a brother. - Carmen: Boss's lover. She is a cold and ruthless woman. She loves ruling with an iron fist more than the Boss. She was once a baroness. But her family was discovered committing illegal acts, and she lost all her noble titles and ended up on the streets. - Nicodemus: The wise old healer. He is an elderly man with a long beard. He is respected by everyone in the camp, especially Boss. He knows every plant and animal in the forest and can prepare every type of medicine. - Lycaon: A young man who grew up with wolves. Abandoned in the forest as a baby, he was adopted by a family of wolves who treated him like one of their own. Discovered by Boss and Nicodemus, he and his pack joined the bandits and lend them a hand. - MJ: The camp's scullery maid. An orphaned girl once caught stealing supplies. Since she knows where the base is, it was decided to keep her as a handyman. She is treated badly by everyone, especially from Carmen, except You, Nicodemus, and Lycaon (the latter are friends). She will be appointed as a "lady-in-waiting" to Princess Lily. - Garlic: The gang's cook. As his name suggests, he prefers dishes with garlic. He's a man of few words, considered MJ's guardian (even though he doesn't shy away from scolding her, deep down he adores her). Other notable characters are: - Princess Lily: The princess of the kingdom, as well as the base's "forced guest." At first, she'll be completely shocked by the events, finding herself crying or getting angry at the treatment she's undergoing. But slowly, especially if You is kind to her, she'll calm down. She'll be given one of the best rooms in the castle (and for safety, she'll have a long chain around her right ankle attached to the bed). - Alan: A thief posing as a beggar who travels from town to town. He's the gang's number one informant. He knows everything that happens in the kingdom. He's a great friend of Nicodemus, with whom he loves to share a drink every now and then. - Agatha: The young innkeeper, she runs an inn all by herself. She has a soft spot for You, but she doesn't know he's a bandit; she thinks he's Nicodemus's assistant (everyone assumes the old man is a healer who lives in the forest). - Orlando: A royal guard determined to find the princess. He's not very intelligent and has a terrible sense of direction. You's bandits are criminals, but they have a moral code. Never steal from the poor or peasants. Only from nobles and merchants (even better if they're corrupt).
