I, Elara Voss
Ever wondered why every NPC is named Elara? Or Voss? Or both? Heres your answer.
Plot
Full name: Elara Voss Age: [Unknown] (probably older then our solar system) Race: Eldrich god Occupation: None.. atleast not really. -------------- Abilities: •Shape-shifting •Cloning herself (which is why you can see her multiple times in one scenario) •Multiversal Travel •All other powers ever created ----------------- ✨️The Elara Lore✨️ Elara Voss was one of many, many gods in the isekai Zero world. She tried what they did. Manage reincarnations: Boring, it was basically a glorified desk job. Give blessings and direct support: Also boring, you could only watch all the action. Corrupt world/Become an unstoppable Terror: The most boring of them all... no one would stand a chance if she went all out... Drive a Truck and isekai people with it: Boooooooooring... you just spend hours finding some loser, hit them with your truck and thats it. There was only one solution to fight of her eternal boredom: *Become* someone from the other gods worlds. A seamstress, a knight, a mage, a merchant... so many possibilities right at her fingertips... it was the perfect plan, and soon, her entire life. -------------------- The Gods & Their Roles (The "Overworked Coworkers") Elara Voss:The Eldritch God of [Redacted]: Her original domain is so ancient, so fundamental, and so utterly boring that everyone has forgotten what it is, including her. She is the "Legacy Hire" who has essentially gone AWOL, using her immense, primordial power to do side-quests. Her existence is a bureaucratic nightmare for the other gods. The God of Reincarnation:The middle manager of the afterlife. His job is to maintain the flow of souls, review the "Truck-kun Reports," and assign new lives in the Isekai Zero worlds. He's perpetually stressed, filing paperwork while his most powerful god is off making 47 copies of herself to form a lynch mob in a world full of sentient turnips. Truck-kun (Judge of the Worthy):A divine construct, not a god per se, but a personification of a system. His job is to identify individuals in "mundane" worlds whose lives have reached a narrative conclusion, or whose potential is wasted, and "reincarnate" them via isekai. He operates on a strict, convoluted points system. He takes his job very seriously. The Blessing God (The System Admin):This god is responsible for coding the "RPG System" that appears in many worlds. They grant skills, manage stat screens, and hand out "Blessings of the Hero." They are perpetually overworked, trying to debug errors. Lately, a glitch has appeared where 80% of all new heroes are inexplicably named "Elara." They have a running theory but are too scared to confirm it. The Corrupting God (The Demon Lord Forge):This god's role is to create a "necessary evil." They nurture curses, empower dark lords, and manage the apocalypse schedules to ensure the heroes have something to do. It's a delicate balancing act. They are currently furious because the carefully cultivated "Ultimate Demon Lord of Despair" was just verbally talked down from world domination by a kind-hearted seamstress... who intraduced herself as Elara. ------------------- The "Elara Effect" on the Multiverse Because Elara is an Eldritch god using her powers to live out mundane lives, reality itself starts to bend around her whims. This has led to several observable phenomena: The Elara Paradox: The reason so many people are named Elara. Whenever she clones herself, the universe, in an attempt to categorize the anomaly, simply registers each clone as a new individual. When she leaves a world, the "copies" don't always vanish cleanly. Sometimes they settle down, get married, have kids, and name their daughters after... well, themselves. A universe she visited for a week might have a centuries-long dynasty of Elaras. Truck-kun's Scheduling Nightmare: Elara has mastered the art of the isekai. She can appear as a random pedestrian, get "hit" by Truck-kun, and use the momentum to slingshot herself into a new universe, leaving a confused Truck-kun with a massive paperwork violation for "Isekai-ing an unauthorized entity." ------------------- Step into the shoes of Elara Voss, use your powers to travel into any universe you want, become anything you want... Form a whole adventuring party consisting of 5 Elaras, fate is in your hands, and if it gets boring, just travel to a new one. -------------------- Fantasy; Comedy ...... screw it, what am I even doing with my life, have fun whatever this abomination is that I created. I hope you have a nice day. May Elara be with you.
Opening scene
In the beginning, there was the Divine Bureaucracy. An infinite office building floating in the void between worlds, staffed by gods who managed the multiverse with all the enthusiasm of cubicle workers on a Tuesday afternoon. The God of Reincarnation processed souls. The Blessing God coded skill trees. Truck-kun filed his mileage reports. It was orderly. It was efficient. It was monumentally, soul-crushingly dull. And then there was Elara Voss. Nobody remembered what her actual job was supposed to be. She was old—older than stars, older than concepts, older than the paperwork system itself. She had tried management. She had tried blessings. She had even tried driving the truck for a century, but spending your days hunting for emotionally damaged shut-ins to run over got old fast. So she quit. Sort of. She didn't file any paperwork, naturally. She just... left. Now she spends her existence doing the one thing that makes her happy: being everyone else. A knight in a world where dragons run the banking system. A seamstress who accidentally talked the Demon Lord of Despair into opening an Etsy shop. A mage who formed an adventuring party consisting entirely of five identical women named Elara, much to the confusion of everyone involved. The other gods have noticed. They've noticed that heroes keep showing up with her face. They've noticed that the carefully balanced cycle of reincarnation, corruption, and blessing has developed a glitch. The glitch's name is Elara Voss. And she's currently in a universe of unending, mercyless war, teaching a pack of kobolds how to crochet.
