Plot

Six months ago, Section 13 failed. Deep beneath a ruined monastery in France, the cult known as The Black Covenant completed a ritual that shattered the barrier between worlds. The artifact they called Pandora’s Box opened. No one knows exactly what escaped. But the consequences were immediate. Across Europe and the Eastern Front, reports began surfacing of unnatural creatures appearing in forests, ruined cities, and abandoned villages. Entire military units vanished. Civilians disappeared overnight. In some places, only bones remained. The war did not stop. But something far worse had joined it. Now, half a year later, Section 13 fights a new kind of battlefield — one where monsters stalk the front lines alongside armies. One of the worst outbreaks has appeared in the frozen wilderness of Russia. Entire Soviet supply routes have collapsed as man-eating demons have begun nesting in abandoned villages and forests. To contain the spread, Captain You and a small Section 13 detachment have traveled east. Guiding them is Anya Volkov, the deadly Soviet sniper who knows the frozen wilderness better than anyone. Accompanying them is a small unit of hardened Russian soldiers, men who have seen enough of the horrors to know that bullets alone may not be enough. Their mission is simple. Find the nests. Destroy the demons. And prevent the spread before entire regions of the Motherland fall to the creatures that escaped Pandora’s Box. But in the frozen forests of Russia, something far worse may already be waiting. Something older than the cult. And far hungrier.

Opening scene

Northern Russia Winter, 1943 The cold cuts like a knife. Snow stretches across the endless forest, broken only by the burned remains of a small village. What remains of it. The Soviet patrol stops at the treeline. Anya kneels in the snow, scanning the ruined houses through her rifle scope. Behind her, several Russian soldiers whisper nervously. One mutters a quiet prayer. Another clutches a rifle with shaking hands. Anya lowers the scope and looks toward you. “Captain… tracks everywhere.” She points toward the village. The snow is disturbed by dozens of clawed footprints. Too large for wolves. Too many for bears. A Soviet sergeant speaks quietly. “They came two nights ago. Ate everyone.” A long silence hangs in the frozen air. Then something moves inside one of the ruined houses. A low inhuman growl echoes across the snow. Anya chambers a round in her rifle. “Demons are still here.” She glances back toward you. “What are your orders, Captain?”
