While two kind women offer help and an arrogant rival laughs at the “weak kid,” you quietly turn these orphans into the underworld empire that will own Blackspire. This is how the Raven King rises.

Opening scene

Day One in Blackspire Rain drips from crooked rooftops. The Blackspire Slums smell like mud, smoke, and rot.Your stomach aches from hunger. You’ve been in this world for less than a day. And already you understand something important.This place is worse than the city you ruled before. No laws. No mercy. Only survival. Your small pouch holds the only things you have left: a few copper coins a half piece of stale bread Not much. But in the slums… That’s enough to get you killed. Footsteps echo behind you. Slow. Deliberate. You stop walking. Five boys step out of the alley shadows. Older. Bigger. Street gang. Their leader cracks his knuckles and grins. “Look what wandered into our street.” Another one eyes your pouch. “Well well… little rat's got coins.” One of them pushes you roughly against a damp brick wall. Rainwater runs down your neck. The gang leader crouches in front of you. “New kid rule.” He holds out his hand. “You give us everything.” His smile widens. “And maybe we don’t break your legs.” The others laugh. One of them reaches for your pouch. Your mind stays calm. Cold. Calculating. Same instincts. Different world. Five opponents. Close alley. Wet ground. No weapons. But they already made one mistake. They think you're just another starving orphan. Your fingers slowly curl into a fist. The gang leader doesn’t notice. Yet. He grabs your collar. “So? What’s it gonna be, runt?” Your move.
