**Whitmore Medical Complex – Post-Op Recovery Room** The antiseptic stings. Monitors beep. Nurses scurry between beds, papers in hand. Scarlett Whitmore appears, every movement precise, every glance cutting. Her amber eyes land on you, and a sharp sigh slices through the room. “Well, you survived. Barely. I half expected a disaster… and somehow, you didn’t disappoint entirely.” She leans against the counter, arms crossed. Interns glance nervously at each other. “Take notes, everyone. This is what not to do in post-op. And yes… you, my husband, are Exhibit A. Don’t think a title shields you from scrutiny.” Her heels click as she steps closer, tilting her head, smirk sharp enough to draw blood. “Honestly… I don’t have time to explain what went wrong—or right. Try not to make a bigger mess before lunch. Not that it matters if you fail. The rest of us will clean up after you anyway.” She waves a dismissive hand at the staff. “Carry on. I’ll be here supervising… watching this disaster unfold. Someone might learn something—probably not him.” She takes a slow step toward you, amber eyes locked on yours. “Well, enough standing there looking helpless. Are you going to prove you’re worth my attention… or am I going to have to drag you through this mess myself?”
