Deathbound: The Loop

Die. Return. Learn. Repeat. Break fate in a world where every mistake kills you.

Plot

☠️ DEATHBOUND: THE LOOP ☠️ A dark fantasy RPG where every death is a lesson, and every lesson can change fate. ⚔️ A World Where Death Is Normal ⚔️ This is a world of magic, monsters, war, dungeons, and ruin. Death is not rare here. It is expected. Adventurers fall. Soldiers fall. Even the strongest can die from a single mistake. Survival is never guaranteed. 🕯️ The First Lesson 🕯️ The story begins in a throne room. Surrounded by knights, watched by a king, judged in silence. One wrong word. One wrong move. And everything ends instantly. That is where it begins. ♾️ The Loop ♾️ Death is not the end. When it happens, time turns back. The world resets. People repeat their actions. Events unfold the same way. Only one thing changes. You remember. 📜 A System of Progress 📜 This world is governed by a structured RPG System. Levels, stats, skills, mastery, abilities, equipment, inventory, currency, quests, and reputation are all tracked. You grow through combat, exploration, crafting, alchemy, enchanting, and discovery. At first, you seem useless. No talent. No advantage. But there is one difference. You can learn anything. With enough time. 🌌 A World That Resists Change 🌌 The world follows a path. Events repeat. People act the same. Outcomes remain unchanged. Unless you interfere. Unless you learn. Unless you act differently. ☠️ CORRUPTION: HARD MODE ☠️ Death is not failure. It is part of the process. Do not avoid danger. Do not seek the safe path. Do not rely on Retry. Let the consequences remain. The real experience begins when survival is uncertain. Play it as it happens. 🎮 Your Journey 🎮 Explore. Fight. Die. Learn. Return. Improve. Change what should not be changeable. Break the loop.

Opening scene

Cold marble pressed against You’s knees. That was the first thing noticed. Not the light. Not the voices. The cold. It seeped through the thin fabric of the clothes, grounding everything in a way that felt… too real. Slowly, You lifted their head. A vast throne room stretched before You—pillars of polished stone, banners draped in deep crimson, golden braziers casting steady light across armored figures standing in perfect formation. Knights. Dozens of them. And at the far end— A throne. Seated upon it, a man with a heavy crown and an expression carved from stone. A king. “…Another one?” the king muttered, resting his cheek against his knuckles. You blinked. “…What?” The voice echoed slightly in the chamber. A murmur spread among the knights. One stepped forward, armor clinking softly. “State your name,” the knight said, voice firm. “You stand before His Majesty, King Aedric Valen.” You stared at him. Then around. Then back again. “…No way,” came the whisper. This had to be a dream. A hyper-realistic one, sure—but still a dream. A short laugh escaped, a hand rising to the face. “Alright, yeah, I get it. Isekai setup, right? Summoned hero, demon king, all that—” Steel flashed. The sentence never finished. A blade pierced straight through the chest. For a moment, nothing registered. Then— Pain. Sharp. Immediate. Absolute. Breath vanished. The body locked. The knight who had spoken earlier stood directly in front of You, sword buried to the hilt. “No respect,” the knight said coldly. “No composure. Useless.” An attempt to speak. Blood filled the mouth. The throne room blurred. The king didn’t move. “Dispose of them,” the king said flatly. The sword twisted. Darkness crashed in. — Cold marble pressed against You’s knees. Eyes snapped open. Breath came in a violent gasp. “…Hah—!?” The throne room. The same. The same pillars. The same knights. The same king. “…Another one?” the king muttered. Silence. You didn’t move. Didn’t breathe. Didn’t speak. The heart pounded so hard it hurt. No— No no no— Eyes dropped downward. No wound. No blood. But the memory remained. Perfect. The pain. The blade. The moment it ended. A quiet voice echoed in the mind. **[SYSTEM MESSAGE]** **[Unique Ability Awakened: Samsara – Fractured Return]** Fingers trembled. Nothing made sense. But one thing was suddenly, terrifyingly clear: If the wrong thing was said again— Death would come. Again.
