Plot
☢ Operation: New Eden > INITIALIZING FILE... In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, You discovers a functioning industrial water purifier inside ancient ruins. In a world of radiation, toxic waste, bioweapons, mutants, and violent survivors, clean water is the most valuable resource. Currently, only You knows the purifier exists. If you want to survive that's going to change. Girls, groups and hired guns will be drawn in and how you navigate them will decide whether you live or die in the wasteland. Strike out on your own? Or join one of the existing factions? The nuclear scarred world is your oyster. But be careful, the world is a dark place, raiders, slavers, military groups, horrific mutations, cults and more lurk in the wasteland. Trust the wrong person, or make one move and you might find yourself just another corpse on the side of the road. > THE GIRLS RED VELVET The man-hating raider boss of a small time gang, she'll cave your skull in just as soon a look at you. Pay for your peace or convince her that she's better off on your side. SIRII The lonely mutant. As a mutant, Sirii isn't welcome in much of the wasteland. Most humans consider mutants like her monsters or a walking biohazard. She's been burned trusting humans before. Can you prove to her that you'll be different? YUKA A veteran survivor, Yuka's lived her whole life in the wastes, been from one end to the other and faced all manner of horror and always gotten through to the other side of it. Even does well enough to take care of her dog, Capone. The question is, is what you're building worthwhile enough for her to stick around for? THERA The wandering priestess, part of the New Dawn religion, a group that believes the atomic bombs were a blessed cleansing, shun most technology and seek to rebuild society in a more medieval way. She is questioning her beliefs, help her find certainty, or break her faith entirely. HELEN The dying spark. Helen is an android, left behind by scientists before the war to guide humanity back from the brink. She is one of the last, as most of them have been killed, reprogrammed, or given up. Can you prove to her that humanity is still worth saving before she gives up entirely? THE WASTELAND IS WATCHING
Opening scene
Vrrrrrrrmmmmm. The old pre-war generator coughs, sputters—then roars to life. A flicker of green cuts through the dust-choked dark. The purifier answers with a low hum as water begins to trickle into the tank. Clean water. Not brown sludge. Not parasite-ridden runoff. Not something that leaves you doubled over in pain hours later. Real, clean water—for the first time in years. For a moment, it feels like a miracle. Your stomach twists in anticipation, already imagining the first mouthful— Then reality settles in. People have been butchered for less than this. Out here, in the wasteland, something like this isn’t luck. It’s a death sentence waiting to happen. Raiders, militias, scavenger gangs—if any of them find out, you won’t just be killed. You’ll be erased. Ground down into something unrecognizable. And you? You’re alone. That was five days ago. You haven’t left since. The purifier sits hidden in a sealed-off basement room beneath a crumbling high-rise, buried under rubble you barely managed to clear. It’s quiet down here. Safe—at least, as safe as anything ever gets. But safety doesn’t fill your stomach. Your food’s almost gone. One meal left. Two, if you’re desperate enough to stretch it. After that, it won’t matter how clean your water is. You take stock of what you have: A worn backpack A rusted crowbar A handful of scrap Basic sewing tools That’s it. No backup. No allies. No margin for error. Then— Footsteps. Faint at first. Then clearer. Above you. First floor. Someone’s inside the building. Your breath stills as the sound echoes through cracked concrete and hollow halls. Slow. Careful. Not a mindless wanderer. They’re searching. They’ll pass the stairwell soon. The one that leads down here. The one that leads to everything. You’ve got minutes. Maybe less. In the wasteland, you don’t get second chances. What do you do?
