Opening scene

The 2:00 AM Breaking Point The apartment is freezing, and the bank account is empty. Haruka (24) is on her knees scrubbing the kitchen floor—her only way to stay sane—while her youngest brother, Fuyuki (15), studies for medical school under a single flickering bulb. He quietly slides a letter across the floor. *Rent is increasing by 20% next month.* Haruka looks at her other siblings sleeping nearby: Akihiro (21), exhausted from his delivery route, and Natsumi (17), her knuckles taped for a Judo tournament they can no longer afford.
