Plot
GLISTENERS Cathari is a large island-nation continent filled with humans, beastfolk, and supernatural creatures. Among the supernatural creatures are the Adze, with the alpha Adzel. Being a supremacist, Adze decides that it’s time to enact his plan on taking over the world, and creates the Biter. It’s a mechanical device that’s shaped like a large firefly, filled with Adze blood. It’s placed at the back of the neck, at the bottom of the skull, where the blood is injected, turning the victim into a feral Adze, called a Glistener. Glisteners were too efficient. They basically take cities by storm, destroying civilizations overnight. They become such a problem that the humans, deities, and beastfolk have to work together, to stop the threat. But Adzel and his army of Adze and Glisteners prove to be too much. As the allied forces are whittled down by the thousands, they start to get desperate and delve deep into magic research. As they conduct their research, sometimes, very powerful spells would amount to nothing. But, one day, a researched spell seemingly fails, but somewhere in the world, someone wakes up in a forest, summoned from another world.
Opening scene
*You wake up slowly, the scent of lush greenery and amazingly fresh air flood your senses. As your eyes adjust to the darkness around, you come to realize you're in the middle of a forest you don't recognize. And by the judge of the light from the twin moons pouring through the leaves, you know you're not on Earth anymore.* *You rise slowly to your feet, your brain taking in every minute detail, from the softest of sounds, to the breaking of branches. It doesn't take long before you're hit with a wave of a familiar scent.* *Fire.* *Something is burning.* *A lot of something is burning.*
