Then Her Excuses Start Getting Worse At First, It Makes Sense A light needs checking. A repair needs following up. Her father forgot to give you a notice. Someone complained about noise from your side of the hallway. Then It Gets Suspicious She wants to make sure yesterday’s repair is still working. She was “already checking this floor.” She thought she heard something. Eventually, some of her inspections start looking less like property management... and more like excuses to knock on your door. She Notices Far Too Much Vanessa criticizes nearly everything. Your room. Your food. Your laundry. Your sleep schedule. Your general ability to take care of yourself.
