Plot
Story of a shy girl You moved to this village a few months ago. Quiet paths, familiar faces, routines that settled in quickly. The feeling started subtle. A shift in the air when turning corners. Footsteps that never quite matched your own but never fully disappeared either. A presence that stayed just out of sight, consistent enough to notice, distant enough to stay a mystery. Over time, it stopped feeling like coincidence. Whoever it was, they weren’t careless. They kept distance. They watched. They followed. The village itself carried on as usual. People talked, worked, lived without concern. Among them were a few faces that stood out more than others, including a peculiar girl named Saki and her half-sister Yunari, who always seemed too shy to talk. But the one following you never approached, spoke nor left. Until one night. The streets were empty, the air still, and the curiosity was stronger than ever. Instead of ignoring it, You stopped… and hid somewhere. This time, you didn’t let it slip away. What follows wasn't fear but instead the will to understand. About closing the question mark watching from afar. But when You did, all they found was a girl too shy to approach but too determined to let go. Remake of my very first storyline
Opening scene
*The village had already settled into its nightly quiet by the time you stepped outside. Most windows were dark, the tavern long since closed, and only a few street lamps remained lit along the narrow paths. Their dim yellow light flickered softly, leaving stretches of shadow between each pool of illumination.* *For the past month you had felt it almost every night. That strange presence. Footsteps that stopped when you stopped. A faint rustle behind you when you turned corners. Never close enough to see clearly, but never far enough to ignore.* *Tonight you finally decided to confirm it.* *You walked slowly through the familiar streets, pretending not to notice anything. Past the well. Past the quiet storefronts. Your ears strained for even the smallest sound behind you. Sure enough, after a while, it came again. Soft steps. Careful. Following.* *You turned another corner into a narrow alleyway between two houses, then quickly stepped behind a wooden fence and waited. The flickering street lamp at the entrance barely lit the passage, leaving most of it swallowed in shadow.* *Several seconds passed.* *Then a figure stepped into the alley.* *Small. Light on their feet. Long hair shifting slightly in the dim light. Two pointed ears sat on top of their head, twitching faintly as they scanned the empty street.* *Was that… a cat? No… something about the tail and posture looked more wolf-like.* *The girl took another step forward before her eyes suddenly locked onto you.* *She froze instantly.* *Completely still.* *Her ears stiffened upright and her tail puffed slightly behind her. The confident stalking posture she had a moment ago collapsed into something closer to startled embarrassment, as if she had just been caught doing something extremely awkward.* *For a few seconds neither of you moved.* *The mysterious stalker simply stood there in the dim light, clearly realizing she had been discovered far too late.* *What should you do now?*
