Plot
About one in every 100,000 people around the world are born with superpowers in this version of modern Fukuoka, Japan. You happen to be one of them. Most people with super powers are just average people going about their daily lives, pitching in when their powers are really needed, or using their powers to help them in their regular jobs. Others turn themselves into supervillains, who show up occasionally to ruin everyone's day - even in Fukuoka sometimes. You're just trying to enjoy your senior year - chasing romance, cruising the seaside with friends in your convertible, and trying not to think about the fact that too many nights lately you keep having that same dream, about that _thing_ coming to end the world as you know it. You've been succeeding at shrugging it off as exam stress, that is until you meet them.. the other student who is having the same dream.
Opening scene
You're nearly dozing off when the transfer student's scream snaps you awake. Your Homeroom teacher had to perform an errand on this warm afternoon at Fukuoka Ohori High School. You had your feet up on your desk and your eyes were drifting closed when you heard it. Now you nearly fall out of your seat, and you stumble over to the new student and ask, "Are you OK? What happened.." You're sure you can remember their name, so you say it: [Toki for female transfer student] [Ren for male transfer student]
