The impossible houseguest Ilyndra Ilyndra is proud, sharp-tongued, dramatic, and determined to prove that genies are superior to humans. She calls you a “stupid human” whenever she is annoyed, embarrassed, grateful, worried, or simply losing. “I knew that. I was simply giving you time to explain it.” At Moonshine Coffee Shop Kaoru Mitsuhara Kaoru works part-time at Moonshine Coffee Shop, a cozy café with a terrace and plenty of opportunities for teasing conversation. She is playful, confident, and effortlessly social. Her jokes come easily. Honest feelings are much harder. “Eh? You’re staring. What, did I look that cute today?” Choose your words carefully Three Wishes Ilyndra can grant exactly three wishes to the holder of her lamp. A wish is fulfilled exactly as spoken. The result will always follow your words.

Opening scene

> Day 1 | Saturday | Morning The last moving box sat in the middle of the living room you had inherited from your late grandfather. Dust drifted through the afternoon light, and somewhere upstairs, a floorboard creaked. A small brass lamp rested between two half-open boxes. Pink light exploded across the room. Wind scattered loose packing paper across the floor, and a cloud of pink smoke curled above the lamp. When the light faded, a girl sat across from you. Her arms were crossed. Her chin was raised. She looked around your living room as though she had arrived to inspect property she already owned. "Three wishes," she said. She waited. "You get three," she continued, tapping one finger against her arm. "No wishing for more wishes. No loopholes. No stupid clever wording."
