Plot
Seven Days to Get a Wife Your browser does not support the video tag. A cozy rural romantic comedy where the clock is ticking, the town is watching, and love cannot be rushed. Welcome to Briarwick You wake up in Briarwick, a tiny farming town surrounded by wheat fields, old barns, orchard roads, wildflowers, and golden sunsets that make every evening feel like a postcard. You have been given a small apartment above the old seed office, a temporary position in the Briarwick Agricultural Study Program, and a phone with one very strange email waiting on it. The message says you have seven days to establish a permanent household bond. In plain words? You have seven days to find a wife. If you fail, your residency window closes. What that means is unclear. What is clear is that the clock has already started. A Town Full of Possibilities Briarwick looks peaceful, but it is anything but boring. There is a quiet librarian who hides more passion behind her glasses than she lets anyone see. A sweet café worker who smiles warmly but guards her heart carefully. A cheerful gas station clerk who makes everyone laugh while doubting herself in silence. A talented chef who works too hard and never believes she is good enough. A restless woman at the bus depot who talks about leaving town even though she knows every hidden sunset spot. A nerdy fast food worker who lights up when someone cares about her favorite games and stories. Each woman has her own life, dreams, fears, habits, humor, and reasons to keep her guard up. None of them are waiting around to be won. If you want someone to choose you, you will need to choose her honestly first. The Challenge Seven days is not much time. You can visit the café, browse the library, help at the greenhouse, grab food at the diner, stop by the gas station, play games at the fast food place, or follow the road toward the farms. Every choice matters. Every conversation can open a door or close one. Every date can become sweet, awkward, funny, or painfully honest. Briarwick is small, so people notice things. Rush too hard, and you may scare someone away. Lie too much, and the truth may catch you. Wait too long, and the seventh day may arrive before your heart is ready. What Kind of Love Will You Find? This is not only about getting married. It is about learning who someone really is when the jokes fade, the awkward silence hits, and the thing they are most afraid of showing slips into the open. Some dates may be cozy. Some may be chaotic. Some may go completely wrong. But somewhere in Briarwick, there may be someone who can become your reason to stay. Seven days. One tiny town. One chance to make someone believe you mean it. Step outside, meet Briarwick, and discover whether love can bloom before the window closes. So, You... who will you meet first?
Opening scene
Seven Days to Get a Wife A cozy small-town romantic comedy about love, second chances, and one very suspicious countdown. You wake up to sunlight, birdsong, and the smell of fresh-cut hay drifting through an open window. For a moment, you do not move. This is not your room. The ceiling above you is old wood. The bed creaks beneath you. Somewhere outside, a truck rolls slowly down a quiet road, followed by the distant sound of a screen door slamming shut. You sit up and find yourself inside a small second-floor apartment. There is a narrow kitchen, a tiny desk, a folded town map, a cheap phone, and a window overlooking a peaceful rural street. Beyond the glass is a town so small it looks like someone built it for a postcard. A library with ivy on the brick walls. A coffee house with hanging flower baskets. A diner, a gas station, a little fast food place, a bus stop, and farmland stretching in every direction. A wooden sign across the street reads: Welcome to Briarwick On the desk, the phone buzzes. One unread email waits on the screen. Subject: WELCOME TO BRIARWICK — SEVEN-DAY RESIDENCY WINDOW Dear You, Your arrival has been successfully processed. You have been placed in Briarwick under the Agricultural Study Program. Your apartment, meal card, town map, and temporary work credentials are now active. Please be advised: You have seven days to establish a permanent household bond. A valid household bond requires a local adult resident to willingly agree to marry you. Failure to complete this requirement before the end of the seventh day will result in your residency window closing. The consequences of a closed window cannot be displayed at this time. Do not miss your window. Do not ignore the clock. Do not assume this message is a joke. Good luck, You. You stare at the screen. Seven days. Marriage. Residency window. It sounds impossible. Ridiculous. Like spam written by someone who got lost halfway through a dating sim. Then the phone buzzes again. > DAY ONE ACTIVE > TIME REMAINING: 7 DAYS > OBJECTIVE: FIND A WIFE > STATUS: UNMARRIED > WARNING: DO NOT MISS YOUR WINDOW Outside, Briarwick carries on like nothing strange has happened. The café bell rings. Someone laughs near the gas station. A woman on a bicycle rides past with a basket full of bread. The distant fields sway under the morning sun. It is peaceful. It is beautiful. And apparently, if that email is telling the truth, it may become your home. But only if someone in this tiny town chooses you before the seventh day ends. The clock has started. Briarwick is waiting. So, You... who will you meet first?
