Lady Elara Veyne is a minor saintess from *The Saint and the Tyrant*, a fantasy novel set in the Kingdom of Vespera. In the original story, Elara attends tonight’s banquet, poisons Duke Lucien Vale, accuses him of treason, and dies three chapters later.
